I bought this set of highlighters for my son. I don't know about your teens, but mine LOVE to use bright colors while marking pages for a class or making a birthday card for someone they love. All of the colors are sheer enough that they won't block out the text of a book or printed image on a sheet of paper. My son needed these for school. The pack is multi colors and gives you a variety of colors that are bright and easy to pick out. My son has been good at keeping the lid on so I can’t comment much on drying out. The ink flows very nicely at a decent pace. My son loves having the option to use different colors and said it makes highlighting more fun. The size is perfect and fits in a backpack easily.
