looks good . I was trying to buy same size microwave I had before in the cabinet opening. The Frame especially at the start button is flimsy .Not sure if it is durable.. over priced for the quality.

Don’t buy! Had it for 14 months worked fine, then Stopped working. It would turn on and the fan would work but no heat. Thinking the magnetron is blown. The warrentee is for only one year and the extended warrantee doesn’t work. Called the three shops sharp referred me to and each one said they wouldn’t work on them and viewed them as disposable. Way too expensive for that and customer support was awful.

I needed a small microwave for a studio apartment remodel. This was the smallest wall mounted microwave I could find and it’s the perfect size if you need it for a small space, as I did - it’s sleek and compact.I was going to take the chance and install over a range after reading other reviews and Q&As where people said they managed even though it has no built in ventilation/circulation for over the range, but ended up returning upon delivery because of damage.I had ordered an Amazon Warehouse version of this product which had been clearly described as very good condition in original undamaged box - no product damage was mentioned. Was disappointed to receive the box with a very small hole in one corner and the door of the microwave had a small dent on the edge directly behind where the box had been damaged, so unfortunately I returned.I’ve had great luck with other Amazon Warehouse purchases, and think it may have just been bad luck that a previously undamaged product may have just been damaged en route to me.

This cabinet depth microwave is a great choice for tight spaces. Most of the countertop microwaves we looked at were too deep (19" or more) to fit our alcove (15 1/8" deep). This model sticks out about a half inch but is barely noticeable. Works great, is easy to use, and has a modern stainless steel look. We're very happy we got this.

We had an "older" GE "over the counter" (OTC) microwave that worked fine though I was updating the appliances for the kitchen and this SHARP fit the dimensions under the cabinet almost perfectly, sticks out 1/2". Appliances are not easy to look at on line even with the "enlarge" feature. This is one of few OTC models that is truly OTC and not over the range. This SHARP definitely looks better in person than the photos and it works great too. It makes slightly more noise than our old GE but the new and improved features far out weigh a little noise, might be the fact that this one rotates and the other was "br" or before rotation. The digital touch pad is very easy to use and looks neat and clean. Push the "Start" button to automatically cook for 1 minute, touch it twice for 2 minutes. It has OTC lights underneath and "ease of use" buttons for popcorn etc. SHARPS are known to be simple, elegant and well made. We hope it lasts a long time like our old one (the "Antiques Road Show" model as our contractor called it) and serves its purpose well. I would definitely order another one and will if the opportunity presents itself.

Very nice, powerful microwave. We bought a house that had a 24" under cabinet microwave, that died. So rather than remove the range hood and adjust the cabinet height, I elected to replace the broken unit with the Sharp under counter unit. Straight forward mounting bracket, plenty of cord length, pretty good power, and decent button options. Sensor reheat works well on multiple things, and defrost options are good too. I felt the unit was the most reasonably priced for the few 24" units out there. Fast free shipping was great too!

So our microwave threw sparks around the cabinet and I had to come back and order a waveguide for it...and Amazon reminded me I'd bought the oven from them in 2004. So, a review.First off, it's a unique package, the 'undercabinet' configuration is unusual. The part you need to understand is that it's deeper than a conventional wall cabinet. That's the only way you get a decent-sized oven in something that'll fit under a cabinet. So it's either going to stick out or - in our case, because we had the kitchen torn up at the time - you need to cut some 2x4s and box off a spot in your wall for it to sit back into. Ours sits flush with the cabinet faces. It's got a turntable, so that limits the size of what you can cook at one time. The controls make sense, more so than many other microwaves. It has a built in countertop light but if you want your lights switched through the wall switches you'll have to do something else; we've got a slightly clunkly fluorescent underneath but the prevalence of tiny undercounter LEDs now makes this almost trivial. It's an old design now but a unique and almost irreplaceable package and ours has been durable enough, so five stars.
