Easy to use, great cleaning power. I’ve previously owned a different shark steam mop that was more powerful than this one so I was expecting a subpar performance from this one and was pleasantly surprised that it cleaned my floor just was well

I have pets and a Husband. I don't know which one is worse for spills. This device is so easy to use and quick. You know your walking out the door and you see it. Someone left a mess on your floor. I can do quick once over with this and it's not just cleaned it's sanitized. I walk out the door and knowing my floor is clean. The steam is better than any product i can buy. It doesn't matter how many times a day, they make a mess this device helps me keep the floors sanitized without making a big deal about it. I even taught my husband to use it. And now we bought keep the floor sanitized without getting the carpet shampooer out. Love it!!

I set the steam cleaner up per the enclosed instructions. Filled the water tank and installed it. Plugged the system in and 15 minutes later there was no steam, heated water, or even noise coming from the unit. Actuated the handle up and down multiple times, but still no sign of steam, or life, from the unit. I first assumed the unit was still defective, but realized the water tank appeared filled at the same level from assembly. I assumed air pocket may be preventing water from getting to heating elements, so I shook and tilted the unit, even spinning, to get the water to offset the air. Result: It did! The water tank drained about 25% in to the heating system and began to heat, Steam was achieved within 5 minutes. Following that, the unit worked well and generated steam as expected. As I could not find any reference to this potential problem in the instructions, this is a FYI for future buyers. I hope it works for you if needed.

This item leaves a lot to be desired, and in my opinion, left out/glossed over some of the more irritating features and instructions. This is my third steam mop. The first was a Bissell and I loved it, but it's discontinued. The second was a no-name knock-off brand, that worked fine for about 9 months then started dying. And now this shark one - that honestly I was really excited about trying.I haven't felt this let down by a product in a long time.Pros:long cordlightweightcons:the water reservoir is way too smallmop head velcros on - so it's not stable or secure until it's wet and you have been pushing on it for several lengths of the floordoes not have constant steam ** THIS is the most frustrating "feature" **Cheap/low-quality parts *** see below***So the first thing I noticed was the non-constant steam. There is no on/off it's just plug-in and go (eventually). There is no high/low steam setting. The handle pumps up and down about an inch or so, and this you must pump, I have counted anywhere between 10-25 times just to get the thing going. I have the large 12x12 inch tile in my kitchen and after the initial start-up, I have to stop and stand the handle upright and pump 10-15 times for every two tile squares I mop in the kitchen. It's so slow and time-consuming and frustrating. Because at that point you aren't really cleaning with the steam but with the wet mop head. Also, while mopping you are pushing the handle in and out but that does not feed water to the heater apparently.**Cheap/low-quality parts** So I know it says renewed but mine was new in a "damaged" box. Within one month as I was filling up the reservoir I noticed the spout for the reservoir looked dirty. So I tried to wash it thinking maybe it got moldy from leaving water in it. But no not mold, RUST. Nowhere do they say don't leave water in the reservoir? Or heck even gives you a complete and useful user manual anymore. And this is on the spring that is embedded inside the spout that you screw onto the reservoir to only allow water out when you pump it.Needless to say, it takes three times as long to get my kitchen done now. I will probably have to replace it sooner than I thought. It frustrates me to no end. I would not buy this again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It's a waste of time and I don't think it cleans as well as my old Bissell or even the off-brand one I purchased. And they only include one mop head. Seriously? Those things get dirty so fast, and they all stain, and it's hard to continue cleaning when you have to wash the nop head. Of course, those mop heads start to stink when moist and warm the more stained they get, regardless of which brand I believe. If this is something you have been looking for, keep looking. Don't waste your time or money, just opt for the more expensive option/brand on your list. It will be worth it!

It’s ok for the price. I’ve cleaned with it twice. It was able to get chalk paint that was dried on the floor sever weeks ago. However, I just cleaned my floors with a broom, swiffer mop just to give it good measure and then cleaned it with the shark. I used a paper towel to clean up a few drops of water and the paper towel was still dingy right after I steamed the floors. I wouldn’t recommend a family member to buy only because it is sanitary measure at most. Not to clean with.

This mop is great! I got this to replace my older model Shark steam mop and they have made it better by adding The removable water reservoir. It was difficult filling the old one with a special skinny cup Shark provided to pour the water into the reservoir that was in the mop. I had to lift the mop off the floor to pour the water in. Now with this new and improved design, I snap off the reservoir, and fill from the sink faucet, replace the cap and snap back on the mop! I also love the removable mop pad. You can remove and throw in the washing machine with a little bleach after mopping or if you mop the bathroom floor and then want to mop the kitchen floor you can turn the mop off, wait for the pad to cool off, remove the pad, rinse in the sink after spraying with some bleach to disinfect, squeeze out well and put back on the mop to finish mopping the rest of the house. It’s also easy to use for pet messes. The reason I took a star off my review is due to the shortness of the cord. I do wish it were longer. Other than that, I love this mop and would highly recommend purchasing!

Shark quality at a great price. My reluctance of buying a renewed product completely disappeared when I open the box. There’s no way anyone would be able to differentiate this Shark steam mop from one absolutely new. It’s flawless in both finish and function. In just minutes, the tile floors in my entry, kitchen, hallway and bathroom are spotlessly cleaned. The microfiber cleaning pad is easy to remove, simple to wash, and takes only seconds to re-install.It was a great purchase.
