I should start off by saying I love this air purifier as it has already made a noticeably difference in air quality in my house. The auto setting works well and it kicks on and off just fine as needed. It can be easily moved around even though it seems quite large in the ad photos. Only reason I’m not giving this product the 5th star is the noise level; when it is running full speed I can’t hear anything but the purifier inside my house. My fiance was knocking at the front door the other day and I left him outside because I couldn’t hear him LOL!

Love this purifier. The noise it makes is a calming white noise and easy to sleep to for me. I like that you can clean the filters so you aren’t always out basing new filters. I purchased this to use year round but really use it all of the time during fire season in Montana where there is tons of smoke in the air and it seemed to work great. I had to clean the exterior filters as they were full of gunk. My son has a birth deft that affects his breathing and this feels very helpful for his breathing, especially in his room at night. Definitely seems to help our air quality. The size is nice, it’s not too big and is easy to move around.

This was a replacement for another brand purifier. I've been wanting to try this since the day I first saw them advertised.I've only had it running a few days, and I live in a dusty area. It seems to (so far) do an amazing job of removing the majority of dust in my home. It is the main reason I purchased it.It does an amazing job of removing food smells from the air, they do not linger, as once it detects poor air, it gets to work. I have it set on auto, so it ramps up when needed, and goes back into eco mode when the air is back at 100%I'm sensitive to food smells. (Read onions, garlic, fried smells) and this is amazing. With the odor removal capsule, it spurts fresh scent into the air, and dissipates those smells before they become a problem.Great value for money.Easy to use, set it at auo, and it just does every it needs to do. Increases speed when needed, reduces back down when not.It is quiet. Until it runs on high, it has some noise, but you know it's working.I will be purchasing another for the other side of my home.

I looked and researched air purifiers for a couple weeks after our old one quit performing. I kept coming back to this Shark and bit the bullet and paid the $300 for it. After the first day of running it, I had zero regrets! It works perfectly! We have it in our living room which is off of our kitchen and we keep it on AUTO. When we’re cooking, the Shark will drop from 100 where our air was clean, the fan will kick up a notch or two, depending on how low the numbers went, and it really will clean the cooking orders out! We have allergies and this has helped a lot! We own a home that is over 100yrs old and I used to go around the house dusting all the time and I notice there’s barely any dust on my furniture. I also notice if I spray Febreze air freshener or fabric refresher that the Shark senses it and will kick on and suck my air freshener out. lol I love Scentsy and their wax melts so when I use the one that is closest to the Shark I will just turn the air purifier off for a while because it will sense it and drop to yellow or even red and kick the fans on and clean the nice smell right out of the living room where I have that one sitting. Not complaining, but sometimes I like to smell my Scentsy! Also, there’s different speeds that the fan will run on and even on the highest speed it’s not loud at all. My house has never smelled so clean. We have two 70lb boxers and it has helped tremendously with having pets. When I’m gone for hours and come home, I notice that I don’t smell any signs of owning a dog when I walk into the house and my husband said the same thing when he came home from work the first night we owned it. There’s a light up ring around the numbers on the front that will be green when it’s clean, turn yellow when it’s getting bad and turn red when it’s really bad. We leave ours on AUTO so we don’t have to do anything, the Shark does the air cleaning for us. The never change filter is huge plus! Those filters can be so expensive so it’s nice that we don’t have that expense a couple times a year! The only thing that I’d say would be a “con”, if you want to call it that, and we honestly don’t even care about it, is that air freshener thing on top of the machine. We have never smelled anything come from that and I doubt we will buy new replacement neutralizer cartridges for it. I don’t see the point of it. I don’t see, or smell rather, where it does anything.I hope I covered everything and my review helped you make a decision on your purchase. I’m just an ordinary person with pets and an older home that PAID $300 for this machine and did not receive it for free to write a review like others do with stuff. My review is just our honest opinion that I wanted to share because we like it so much. It works GREAT! Better than any air purifier that we have owned in 30yrs. If you’re looking to buy a new air purifier for your home, I highly recommend this Shark! We sat the empty box in the office and thought we would hold on to it for the 30 days that we have to return something to Amazon just in case we didn’t like it but we threw it away the first week we used it.
