Great for working the paws, ears, face and rear. The scissor cut VERY cleanly and make grooming a BREEZE! I wish I would have gotten these a LOT sooner! However, it's only for smaller areas. For cutting body length hair, I'm looking to pick up one of the straight or curved 6.5Love this brand... high quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pleasant user experience

I had the Kenchii scorpions but they went dull after a few months. I bought these since I had the thinning shears from Sharf and they worked ok. After switching to these scissors, it was so much harder for me to shape the hair on my Maltese's legs as I had been doing. These don't have the micro serrated edge like the scorpions so they don't cut as well but it is possible to sharpen them. I ended up going with a different pair of shears which are working well. These shears may work well for others, but they probably need some adjustment to work well.

07/18/23, UPDATE: these little scissors are still working great. We use them weekly and have no issues. Still sharp and cut well. I do maintain them as instructed. Maintenance is simple and quick. Have not had them resharpened.Good value for the money cut well and smoothly. I am not a pro but have four dogs that require regular grooming. With COVID our groomer hasn’t been able to get them in in a timely manner so in order to prevent matting etc I am grooming from home in between. The cut is smooth and hairs do not slip through like they did with retail store brands. Also really like the adjustable tension and the fact that it is a tension knob and not done with a screwdriver. Have only used once. Will update if I find there is any reason for a change.

I bought these for grooming my three small dogs. Although they are sharp and do the job, the finger holes are too big for me to have a proper hold of them, even with the included inserts. I contacted the manufacturer, but they said I would have to get smaller inserts, but they don't have any. I'll search around, but if I end up having to spend another $10 just for small inserts, I'll probably return these and get a different scissor elsewhere. At least the manufacturer customer service did reply to my email quickly.

They’re okay, but not as sharp as I would have expected. A little disappointed but they did the job when my other pair needed sharpening.

May 2018 Update:The seller reached out to me and asked me to try another pair, at their expense. The new pair arrived and from only a few uses, I am very pleased with them! They are sharp, well-balanced and a good price. I would definitely buy from them again just because of their positive customer service attitude!Original review (October 2016):Nice & sharp! Came with a nice leather case. Better quality than I expected for the price! I also like the feel of these!June 2017 Update: they didn't last very well! I didn't drop them, but just by using them probably 25 hours, they loosened up and are no long cutting properly. There is an adjustment screw, but tightening it doesn't seem to solve the problem.(I bought a new pair from a different manufacturer.)

Is a great comb scissor for giving a natural edge to ones waggy hair nice fit for fingers n my hands & fingers are a piano players so I have larger hands long fingers n usually find scissors made especially the finger holes too small scissors are not long in length Yet I find this great especially if using beneath round legs face etc no drama has a wee screw mechanism which is not fiddly to tighten or loosen n does Not come loose when using and I paid double price for one of these scissors elsewhere n they kept coming loose when using Very impressed n will be looking also for next size in teeth up in this same brand Also delivery was on time scissors come in a great well made case also n packaging was also thoughtful in the goods not being damaged ThankQ for a very good product at a reasonable price For once I have brought scissors that do as claimed which is wonderful as trying to send merchandise back n get refunded with most sellers I have found a waste of my time my expense which cost me n provides roof over sellers head as a customerI would definitely purchase again from this seller

Brilliant just what wanted they are slightly shorter blade than I anticipated but good quality scissors nonetheless.
