After opening, in preparation for using them, I decided assembled the antennas. The metal connector pieces fit too snuggly. When trying to separate them again, the antenna slipped out of its metal fitting, and the two won't separate. The fitting of the other antenna was covered in dried glue which makes it even worse to fit together. Will be returning.

This is my third set and I do believe the nicest ones I have had yet. The things I look for are the following:1. How well does it hold on to the net: since they use velcro the entire length down, it holds on great. I wish more did this2. How well does the pole stay together: This one is a push in type and not screw type which worried me, but it fits so well, it is a really strong connection. I am very happy with it.3. How well does the strap hold up: The strap is leather! (or sim leather) I was a bit shocked as to how nice it was. I always expected nylon, but this is kinda over the top.Highly recommended.

While these are typically used for indoor play, we got them for our outdoor, grass net. The quality is inline with other antenna we've used indoors, and the velcro is holding up well so far.

This Volleyball Antenna Set with Sleeve is perfect for beginners or experienced players. The Antennas are Collapsible, and easily can be transported for use as Referee Equipment. The Red and White Antennas are also easy to see, to allow for line judges to make accurate calls.

I finally had a chance to setup and use the Shappy 4 Pcs Volleyball Antenna Set for middle school playoffs. We have some pretty moderately inexpensive nets and needed something that can easily attach to any net. This set worked out pretty well. Each set contains 2 antennae over each sideline. There are 2 boxed sets bundled together, which is perfect for the 2 competition courts we run simultaneously.The antennae are lightweight fiberglass tent poles nicely painted white for the base and red/white for the top antennae. The 2 sections of the antennae attach via a metal sleeve similar to tent poles except there is no shock cord in between. But having the 2 pieces held together with shock cord would be even easier to assemble.The attachment straps are a soft supple white PU leather or pleather material. The hook/loop straps aka Velco is sewn onto the straps. The 2 halves sandwich onto the net. The Velcro attaches through the netting, so any movement of the net during play will not cause the antennae to move out of position. Other clamp on antennae can pop off or swing from the bottom if the bottom net strap is not tied down.The only wish for this set is to include a carrying case to hold everything together.
