Really nice shade cloth that has held up well to the elements so far. The reinforced grommets have kept the fabric easily secured without any tearing of the fabric.

This shade cloth is sturdy and well made. The gromments are tough. It is light weight and easy to install. Zip ties are included. It is reasonably priced.

I am an Amazon Vine reviewer. I choose the items I want to review. I do receive them for free, in exchange for an HONEST review, though I pay taxes on all products. I am reviewing the ShadeMart 30% Shade Cloth for Plant, Black 8FT x 10FT Outdoor Shade Tarp. I chose this 30% shade cloth for my garden. There are areas in my yard that receive full sunlight year-round and when the temperature gets above 90 F even my tomatoes get really droopy and stop producing fruit. I needed a shade cloth that would provide UV blocking but not keep out too much light and this fabric fits the bill. The size of this cloth is perfect for the patch of garden I need shaded. The grommets are well reinforced and having them makes it easy to attach to stakes the t-tee posts. I am confident that this shade cloth will provide the necessary protection for my plants without blocking out too much light. This is made of polyethylene, per the description, which is a type of plastic. All of the edges are reinforced with a canvas type fabric, which will cut down on damage from the wind. Good material to work with. It can take a decent amount of stretching without loosing its basic shape. Tough material that lasts a while. Great for adding shade, or to slow winds blowing into a porch or such. I used these to help with wind control in my work area to keep dust/debris out.

This is a well made 30% shade cloth. It is double hemmed and the material to create the hem is a very thick nylon webbing. The grommets are doubled up on each corner (some have just one right at the corner) and appear to be sturdy and rust proof.The shade material appears to be 30%. I say "appears" because I have several 30%, 40%, and 50% shade cloths and they are sometimes hard to tell apart if there's only a 10% difference. I don't see this as a problem because the use of a shade cloth is far from an exact science in my experience. If you feel that a certain shade cloth is not providing enough shade, then go up by 10%. I have found the 30% to be a good starting point in my garden here in Wisconsin.It comes with 40 zip ties that are well made and are size 5 which are approx. 2mm x 200mm, that's about 7" long. I simply lay the cloth over my vegetables on hoops, but I can always use extra zip ties.5 Stars for me and would buy again.
