I got the 1.5 grip by 20 feet. I have a small gym in my finished basement and this works well. One disappointment was that the ad says it’s black with red tracer in it. The one I got is totally black. But that is a nit. I had a Hyperwear 20 foot battle rope which weighs 15 pounds but the prices have gone up and is now $270 even though they do have a 20% discount right now. I like that a lot, but my son came over and borrowed it and it’s never returned. I had purchased a Capelli 18 foot rope which weighed 8 pounds but I found that just way too light.. I am 5’10” 160 pounds so I’m not a big guy but I found that rope too light. The Sgt. knots is 20 foot and weighs 12 pounds Which for $63 seems to be a good balance between the Capelli and the Hyperwear if you have unlimited funds, I would really suggest the Hyperwear. But for me, this rope is working well. I gave it a four star rating in part due to the lack of the red tracer and the fact that the hyperwear is superior but not $200 more. I also liked that the rope is made in the USA.

they make a nice addition to my home gym and have used them often when i zoom a bootcamp class. they aren't very heavy so they won't damage my basement floor, but they still work great to keep me moving

Seems well built. But after trying for two weeks, it is too light. Tried to return, but there is a $8.75 fee to return which is about 25% of the product price. I guess we will try to make this rope work.

Nice and thin foe my arthritic hands. The 30 foot would have been better for a bit more weight but the 20 foot works fine for someone who can’t lift too heavy.

Arrived on time. Good quality rope. Performs as expected so far. The 2 inch 50 ft rope is the way to go if you are looking for a killer workout. This rope is nice and heavy.

I started using battle ropes when I went to the gym a couple years ago, and it was one of my favorite workouts. Fast forward to 2020, and I knew that when I was ready, I would want to incorporate it in my routine. Well, I've FINALLY gotten serious about my eating and working out (March 2021) and, let me tell you, I am SO happy to have this product!! I connected it to my upstairs banister, but now that the weather is changing, I'm looking for some sort of connection outside of my house to hook it up to. Just carrying the rope will start the workout in the right direction!! I LOVE THIS ROPE!! Awesome stress reliever too! Superb product, very nicely packaged for delivery. I don't remember if I had to buy the connector separately... Even if I did, though, it is all well worth the price (couldn't have been more than a few dollars), and the name on the strap is "Eclipse Fitness". I highly recommend this product for all of your weight loss, maintenance, and toning needs!! I also bought the chart they advertise with it... Not ready for ALL of THAT, but, I'm working on it!! 🤣 70 is the new 40, right?! 🤣💯✨

I built a "Starting Strength" style gym last year and have enjoyed it, but in spite of regular barbell training, I would often get winded after doing various low-intensity chores. It was time to include some form of cardio or HIIT dynamic to my workouts.Battling ropes provides the utility in a tiny space that I was looking for.I don't like running, and even cycling is subject to the weather. I thought about building a prowler, but that too is subject to the weather, a bit of a hassle when transporting weights into the yard, and would hypothetically tear up the lawn if I did indeed commit to a daily routine. Rowers are great, but expensive, a slight challenge to build your own, and take up too much space for my training space.Fast paced burpees were the answer... until I found these!Burpees are still an excellent answer, but these are more fun, which means I won't skip the HIIT part of my workout.About the ropes themselves, I love them! I'm new to ropes, and my diminutive mother walks over to train too, so I didn't want to go bigger than a 1.5" rope. While I would not go any smaller for my sake, I am very happy with the diameter of rope. For reference, I wear a medium-sized work glove. If you look at the pictures, you'll even see that the black rope with red tracers match my squat rack! It's a small detail, but I appreciated having the option to choose my colors when buying from this brand (the SGT Knots website has more selection than Amazon).I don't actually know if this rope is made in the USA, but I know that most of the products from SGT Knots are manufactured here, so for me, that is a plus. I purchased a lot of 550 cord from them in years past, and everything has been domestically labelled. You can see in the pictures that I used a D-ring surface mount to anchor my rope to the floor. I built the deadlift platform that Alan Thrall made a tutorial for on Youtube, and with a 1/4" drill bit for the pilot holes, and a couple of 3/8" lag screws, was able to have a totally secure and out-of-the-way anchoring point for my 30' rope. The handles are perfect. They're comfy, don't get greasy like some petroleum based products get after a while, they totally cover the rope ends, and don't mark up your hands or surroundings when rubbed. The rope ends themselves are properly singed too! Not just covered with the black heat-shrink aglets. Conclusion: choose your length, choose your thickness, then buy this rope. Everything from this brand seems to be good quality.

The quality is amazing. Meets all the expectations and lives up to the reviews. Trying to build up a small garage gym, but this product far surpasses a garage gym.

It took a week for the delivery in my Northern Canadian town, but I couldn’t believe it was actually on Prime! That thing is huge! And weight a ton! I don’t actually use it as a battle rope, I hung it in a tree and the kids and I and even the wife climb on it. Try that for a workout!

I got these for my husband who works out in our garage. They are a great length and he likes the variety they add to his workouts. I've also used them while working out and they work great. Seem very sturdy and the handles and comfortable in my hands.
