BRAIDED MASON LINE

Standard thickness and strength brightly colored marking string. Nothing unique about it. Nothing wrong with it. Marked a straight line for placing landscape borders and laying out the shape of a small pool deck. At some point while I was busy setting brick edging one of the dogs was attracted to the bright color and walked off with it. I found it by the tree in the yard with one cardboard end a little squished and otherwise undamaged.

We are buidling a fence and the need to see where the property line and fence height would be were paramount. With this much string purchased for future use, it was a no brainer at this price point. As you can see in photo 2, it's easy to spot!The spool is 6 inches on a cardboard roll. It's easy to unwind. Also, once it's done, I found you can still wrap it around the post to get it tighter by hand.

There's a slight stretch to the line which makes it great for strong knots. Used it mostly for whipping the ends of rope but it can be used for many things. The ends melt well and sturdy if you need to tie two ends together without making a large knot.

I am a crocheter and I was looking for nylon yarn to see if it would work on my projects. I did a lot of research to find the right strength and size and I stepped out of my comfort zone to give it a try. Oh my goodness, I loved it! It worked up beautifully and I was so excited I couldn't wait to order more!The colors are vibrant and it seems to be very strong. I'm making plant hangers using this nylon string and it will look awesome on the back porch and withstand the elements of weather. I would post a picture but it's not finished yet due to running out of the string.The only downside is it is more expensive than yarn, and there seems to be a limited choice of color options. I had no idea how much to order to complete a project as the string is measured differently than yarn.I have already purchased more and will continue to do so, as long as it doesn't end up costing me more to make my items than yarn does.

The item is exactly what I ordered and it arrived ahead stated date. The cordage is plenty strong for the intended use, but unfortunately, it is too slippery to hold the knots. I was going to make a fish landing net so I should have ordered the tarred cordage. I couldn't get the bottom circle completed before the knots started to loosen and tangle. This was my first attempt at making a net and will know better for next time. Now I have 2000 feet of cordage to use for something else.

This string is all I was hoping for when I bought it. I install fencing and require string lines that will be strong enough to be stretched very tight for long distances. This works well for my purpose. This string is a bit more expensive that other strings available on Amazon but I will pay more for a product made in the USA. Obviously you will need to have a different method of winding the string onto a storage devise. I bought reels used for kite flying and they along with this string work awesome.
