If you're in the market for a slide hammer, this is a good one. 4 1/2 stars.The mediocre board loses it half a star.Pros:-nice grip shape on both hands, about as comfortable as a slide hammer gets-most of the tips are useful and there's a good selection-10 lbs gets the job done on heavy pulls. I use it often with a mo-clamp tac-n-pull on rockers and high strength steels where my stud gun just rips holes because it doesn't have enough contact area-The board is way more convenient than a box. I just wish I had some wall space to mount it on instead of leaning it against my toolbox.Cons:-The board leaves a bit to be desired. it's been a few months and I haven't pulled any of the tip retainers out yet, but they aren't confidence inspiring. The board itself is also MDF, so make sure you keep it dry or it will swell.-because it's not in a box, it gets covered in overspray.-the weight is round, so it rolls.-Some of the tips have an inscrutable purpose (I'm looking at you pipe-with-a-crushed-end).
