I liked them when I first got them but after a SHORT time of use they don’t glide through the fabric very well. I don’t feel like they last as long as they should. Very disappointing.

These needles are so sharp! Very fine quality. I purchased to attempt to hand sew some doll clothes from denim but these are very short. I am inexperienced and had to exchange them for longer ones. If you know what your doing then they are perfect.

My wife does a lot of hand stitching for quilt binding which is demanding on her hands and the needle to get through the layers of material and binding. She has been very happy with the performance of these needles. Super sharp and go through the material very well. Only drawback is they are shorter than needles she has used in the past.

I have tried many needles, and these are by far my favorite. The do not bend, and they stay sharp for along time. A bit more challenging to thread, but well worth it!

I’ve tried many different kinds of quilting needles and I just keep coming back to these. Roxanne’s are great, especially when you get 50 in the package and although I have and love a lot of Clover products, I’m not crazy about their needles. They are harder to thread. Unlike the aforementioned betweens, Tulips eyes don’t bulge out on the sides to make them bigger in order to make threading easier. This means that when you’re pushing it through the fabric, it goes through smoothly and the eye doesn’t get hung up and slow you down. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so, every time I have to tug to get the needle through, that equals more stress on my hands and fingers which means I’ll be hurting sooner. Beyond that, I just think they are smoother and easier to thread. It looks daunting because the eye is so small but, depending on the thread, I often don’t use a threader. If I do, I use the Clover Hummingbird which works well and is small enough to fit into the eye. Also, guiding the needle onto the thread rather than putting the thread through it helps make it easier. I regularly use Gutermann, Aurafil and Sulky and have no problems. However, if it’s a three ply thread, then a threader helps. I haven’t broken or bent any of these needles yet. I can’t resist trying new needles but, as I said, I keep coming back to these. They are pricey but worth it. One last tip: I will put these Tulips on my wishlist and keep an eye on the price. Last time I bought them, they were two dollars cheaper than the regular price.

Super sharp and short. Perfect for hand quilting. These have a nice grip to them. They have a tiny eye which makes tying knots easier, but I have use a needle threader to thread 12pt thread.

Great needles, make hand quilting a pleasure. Have not found a needle yet though that doesn't bend out of shape, which makes the expensive to replace as often as I need to.

Smooth, strong, and sharp. They glide through the fabric very well and it seems to be easier to pull the needle through after gathering the stitches. Not sure how they do it, but these really are good needles.
