I totally love these unbleached paper towels! I no longer worry about using paper towels to drain bacon grease or to use to wrap cheese or other items. I love these, great size, strong for difficult cleaning jobs AND Eco-friendly!

I moved from a rural area of Maine to a less rural area a though I looked high and low, especially natural food stores and Whole Foods, I could not find unbleached paper towels. These are very good, thick and absorbent. It’s priced a little high but not much and I wish they offered a two pack instead of only a six pack. But I will buy them again and recommend them to others.

recycled paper, unbleached, responsible company... all great things that you can feel great about when you buy/use these. but those great things come at a cost. they're expensive, and as far as paper towels go, they don't work so hot. I spend way more time than I should pushing liquid around on surfaces with these, waiting for them to begin absorbing, being mildly frustrated. I feel like I could pluck any glossy junk catalog out of the mailbox and slap that down on a wet spot on the counter, and it would absorb just as much liquid just as quickly as these paper towels do. then again, I also know I should be using something made of cloth that can be washed/reused over and over instead of using disposable, single-use paper towels. so maybe the cost/frustration is my penance for wastefulness, and for not being as evolved as I should be by now. I'm working on it, OK?!

What can I say that the product already say100% recycled paperNon bleachedBetter for Mother NatureI have ordered these times. Granted they are slightly more expensive compared to other other paper towels they are worth it. They are the same size as all the other brands and work just as well. I don’t find any cons except they cost a little bit more but I’ll still keep buying them

Great absorbance and can be put in the compost bin. I wish it came in a bigger pack maybe a 4 to 6 pack.

I just received my order of paper towels, so I can tell you my first impressions so far. These rolls look very similar to your regular paper towel roll, the major difference being the colour. The next difference is the softness. These papers are only 1 ply, and are not as soft as the generic 2 ply paper towel, but really this is not a big problem.Because I only got these today I have not been able to try them out yet to eat or clean with, however short of this I chose to put it to the test. I soaked both towels in water, wringed them out and then laid them flat. I was very hopeful for the brown towel, but it did end up ripping. The white towel had no issues.I am very excited to use these paper towels. I am not really worried about it's downfalls, because it is only suppose to be a disposable towel. I am most happy about switching to a recycled product, it makes no sense to me that we are cutting trees down just to create a disposable product. I hope more people make the switch!UPDATEI have been using these as my primary paper towels now and I can say I am very glad I made this purchase. These rolls don't seem any larger than regular rolls but because they are 1 ply there really are many more sheets in a roll. These rolls last me a long time. Since buying them I have only gone through 2.5 rolls. Not very much for a household of 2 adults and 4 animals (3cats 1 massive dog). With that many animals you can imagine we have to clean up some accidents from time to time. And we do like to keep a clean house so we do use a lot. These are really great for cleaning windows and mirrors. They don't leave any streaks. And for all other uses I don't miss conventional paper at all. To me now conventional towels are overkill.

It has taken me over a year to use this whole package of paper towels. I have always been a Bounty girl. But I switched to these trying to be less wasteful. I also made some reuseable cloths to cut down on my use of paper products. All that being said, I just bought a package of Bounty at Sam's. Others have mentioned the difficulty in tearing a whole sheet off. Also mentioned by others is the non-absorbency. For spills, I felt like I was just pushing the spill around, and then had to use more than one sheet. And that is for a small spill. I use old bath towels for large spills. I feel that using one pick-a-size Bounty may be less wasteful than using several of these. And Bounty can be squeezed out and go back for more. These fall apart. I really wanted them to work, but these paper towels are too expensive to be this substandard.

I really like this product! Not only is it green, but it's a big roll of paper towel! I only use it for the odd spill, and for cleaning out my guinea pig cage, and I find it holds up well! Have and will buy again!

I read quite thoroughly all the other reviews about this product and didn't know whether I should go through with this purchase or not, but after switching to cloth towels for all my spills, I realized there is still a need for paper towels. (like when an animal has an accident of some sort...I don't really like using our towels and washing those towels with the other laundry...) Needless to say, I wanted to at least have environmentally friendly paper towels & found these.I received my product a day earlier than expect (yay!) And excitingly, my puppy made a mess for me to clean up right after they arrived. They held up just fine. Even when I wet the towels to scrub the carpet, the paper towel held together & no residue from the towels was left in the carpet.I read other reviews where people say their towels never ripped right, well, maybe they have taken note of those complaints and changed the perforation because my towels are a perfectly even & easy tear each time.My husband didn't like the price ($2/roll), but for the effect this will have on the environment in the long run- it is worth it.The plastic wrapping on each paper towel is LDPE #4 and can be recycled with your other plastic bags at your local grocery store; so that is a big plus, too! :)

As far as I'm concerned, these are about the best paper towels you can buy! One reviewer noted that you get a lot of paper towels and they last a long time. In my opinion, that's a huge plus. I think it is very convenient to have them shipped to your home and have them on hand. I NEVER run out of paper towels. As far as their intended purpose, I think they work wonderfully. No, they aren't soft, fuzzy, quilted, bleached, or have colored designs on them; nor do they smell like anything artificial. I don't think consumers realize how many chemicals go into a product like Bounty. If you use them to warm up food in the microwave, I think you are less likely to infuse your food with chemicals as with a mainstream product. With seven rescue dogs in the house, I use them for all sorts of nasty clean-up jobs and find them very adequate. I find they work well for cleaning mirrors and appliances as well. It makes me happy to have an alternative to what the rest of the world is using. I think different is good! If you really want to be environmentally minded, keep a stash of old bath towels, wash rags and hand towels on hand. Use them in place of the paper towels. I save the paper towels for finish work in cleaning and for clean-up jobs that are too nasty to put into my washing machine (yes, they do exist)! If you are chemically sensitive or have allergies, I would highly recommend you try this product!
