These eyes are fantastic! I got them to make a Bookworm. His head is gray and I used the purple eyes... they were SO EASY. Just pop them together and they're slightly inset and look amazing!

These eyes are made of resin, with well centered irises. The glitter shows brightly through the clear part and the plastic safety back attaches the eye securely. My one complaint about these is that the colored glitter disks are made of paper. One wash and your hand made stuffy may lose the colorful part of their eyes. I might use some uv resin to make the disks more permanent, but am otherwise happy with this set.

This kit with 128 pieces of safety eyes for crochet amigurumi is decent. I think that for the price, it's a good value. I was happy with the actual ease of use inserting these eyes in my crochet critters, though I was a bit put off by the need to pull of the random bits of plastic that were floating about inside the case of eyes. I'm not sure if they were originally attached to one part of the safety eye or another, but the end result was opening the case to have little plastic film pieces go everywhere. Definitely not great, as they were staticky and it took some wet paper towels to get them all up off the counter top.The colors included in this set are nice, I put together one of them so you can see how they look. They are easy to use and decent weight/quality. I would order them again.

Love these! The back goes on super easy and doesn't budge. They come with tape over the front of the eye to keep from scratching! Will definitely buy again!

These safety eyes are big and cute! Love the sparkly inserts but since they are inserts, you could just as easily design something of your own for a customized eye. They are easy enough to put together. My hand strength is not that great (thanks arthritis!) so I have to have my husband use the tool and attach these for me. But that is a me problem. My husband seems to do just fine putting these on.

I ordered this set of 20mm safety eyes for a project for my daughter. The eyes look cute and seem to be good quality. Each safety eye comes with a little removable cling cover to keep the eyes from being scratched. You get a set of 64 eyes with safety backs and a collection of glittery color disks to apply to the back of each eye in a nice plastic storage case.

I missed the part where these eyes were going to arrive clear and it was up to you to add a flimsy sparkly disk of color to the eye before use. I had hoped the eyes would be presorted in their box, but it is just a jumble. I'm not sure if I trust the box as it arrived unlatched in the package. Luckily it was packed tightly and everything was still in the box, but handle with care! There are clear protective film bits on some of the eyes to prevent scratches, maybe 50% of them. The eyes do look cute once you put them together and they're a nice size for small crochet critters which is what I wanted them for. The backs seem flimsy, but most safety eye backs do, so I usually reinforce with glue. It would have certainly been nice if the eyes arrived with the sparkles attached, but I'm hoping they will be sturdy enough once they are on an actual toy so that the sparkle disk is pressed firmly against the plastic eye. It takes a while longer to hunt down matching thin disks of paper than it would pre-made eyes, but I'm sure it's more cost effective than if they actually made the whole product before shipping it. The price is good and it does occur to me that if I don't end up wanting to use all the colors they sent, I can use a disk as a template and cut out any color or pattern of craft paper I want. If you're going to be putting them together yourself, might as well design them exactly the way you want!Update: I made a little alien today and was disappointed how much the disc of color sticks out when attached to a small plush. It looks ok head on, but from the side it looked really bad. I stitched some simple eyelids around it to attempt to hide it, but it would've taken a lot more stitches to really cover it up and I didn't want to make him top heavy. It's partly the yarn I used, but I don't love how much work it's going to take to make these look good on projects.
