This is such a nice assortment of set screws ranging from M3 to M8 threads to cover a big variety of household items as well as knobs for electrical projects. I've already used several of these to replace loose or missing screws and they can be so hard to find individually where I live. Having this box which is well organized is so nice to have and something that doesn't take up much space on my shelf. The screws are good quality stainless steel and very strong. Make sure to use high quality hex wrenches with these for best results.

I needed new set screws for towel hooks I purchased as the ones that came with the towel hooks were garbage. This assortment fixed my problem and price wasn't bad.

The screws look good and it's nice to have an assortment on hand. Negatives. The screws were not sorted in the appropriate partitioned areas. Takes quite a while to arrange them into the appropriate areas. Also, I definitely didn't get 250 pieces. Less than 200. Supposed to be 25 of each. Looks like I'm missing one variety completely. Check the picture. Just beware you may not get what was promised.

I'm not sure how I ended up with 250 metric set screws. But in any case, I will review them. The screws look good as set screws go. The box says stainless steel, they take a hex driver. The box has 10 little partitions for each size of screw. One area was completely empty as all of the screws had somehow migrated into the adjoining divisions. This might be because the semisoft plastic lid was warped, or the semisoft plastic lid was warped because the set screws had become lodged between the partitions and the lid. In any case the assortment is no longer sorted. Get the tweezers out.

These set screws are well made and I love that you get a bunch of different sizes. They are so easy to lose when you are working on a project so now I have backups. I like the screws a lot but they arrived disorganized in the box. Someone dumped all of the sizes in to the the back row of the box. It will take me a while to organize them in the box so I don't need to search to find the right size. Recommended.

The carbon steel set screws are well-machined, and the variety of sizes makes this set suitable for a wide range of applications. The inclusion of smaller set screws, which are often hard to find, is a definite plus.However, the plastic organizing case could use improvement. The latch doesn’t close securely and can easily pop open during transport. Unfortunately, all the screws arrived loose, and sorting them was not a fun task. I'm using tape to keep the lid secured between uses.

finding metric set screws in this part of the world has always been a pain - so having a nice assortment is wonderful! I can quickly get a replacement if I lose one, and not have to worry about fit and fitment. They seem to be hardened well (something a set screw is supposed to have) and they just work.
