To better protect and prevent being dented during transportation, lamp shades are rolled up before putting into box. It is easy and quick to set up within 1 minute.
1.Fix the join end of lamp shade ;
2.Fit the upper ring into the clips on the upper part of lamp shade;
3. Fit the bottom ring into the clips on the lower part of lamp shade;
4. Adjust the join end to the right position, you may also adjust it during installation if needed.

Assembly-required lamp chases? No thanjs. This was not noted in the description of product. I checked for this before I ordered and there was No mention of this.

I had two lamp bases that needed new shades. These looked like the right size. One of the lamps had a base that was too big for the hole on the included harps but I’m handy with sheet metal and enlarging the hole wasn’t too difficult.Assembly was easy and everything is made out of quality material. The metal hooks and velcro work extremely well for attaching the fabric to the hoops. The lightly tapered shape looks better than a more heavy taper, and I like that the top is only an inch narrower than the bottom. It lets more light out through the top and helps illuminate the room better.Finally, the slits in the shade as well as the gold lining make for some very cool effects. I love the sunburst pattern it throws across the ceiling. Paired with a 2700k bulb it’s excellent, elegant, warm lighting. It adds comfort and refinement to any room, and in this case really jazzed up some thrift store lamp bases. With the two pack being under $30 and the bases being next to nothing, this is a high value and low cost lighting upgrade for any room.

Very impressive. The black silk imitation fabric & copper style lining is beautiful & looks really high end. The velcro seam is discreet. The harps & ring forms are black, matching perfectly. These shades are very attractive & they are a great cost effective answer to expensive shades without compromising appearance.

I was surprised how easy this was to put together! So glad the harp was included. One less thing to purchase. I also really like the linen texture of the shade. I had bought the lamp at my local thrift store because I hated the idea of paying too much for what I wanted. This shade completed my lamp and the whole lamp came in around $25, shade and all. What a deal!
