Cable cover is cheap, and I wish there were more pulleys and cable to set up more exercises. Over good for the price, might buy a second just for the extra versatility.

As an aging gym rat, it has become clear that injury rehabilitation and exercise variation is now more important than ever. I originally wanted to build my own kit but as I selected individual pieces it got real expensive, fast. I saw this kit and thought if the cables and pulleys are decent, than I can search out the rest. However, this kit is very solid, even the little loading pin! (I have two steel pins fro ironmind that weigh 5 lbs apiece) If you are looking to slam 250 lbs and go to town, then maybe not. But, to gain functionality in a home gym? Yes. 100%The rope is good, the clips are fine, the cables and pulleys are solid, and all the bits of hardware are plentiful and well thought out. The handles are meh but they function and are cheap to replace. The little instruction manual is even useful. Whoever laid this system out really thought it through and sourced good, economical parts.I generally don't reviews unless a product surprises me, good or bad. This pulley system is really, really good at this price point. I have used it 25 out of the last 30 days and I am very satisfied.

Solid little pulley system. Attachments are not the best quality but it’s about what I expected and I have no complaints for the price point. Went ahead and grabbed 2 extra pulleys and cables so I can have a low pulley set up as well. Also if you set up low pulleys the cables have a tendency to fall out of the pulley groove when there is slack. It sucked having to readjust the cables before each set. I solved that by putting some small thick rubber bands around the metal piece just above the pulley wheel to help hold the cable in place.

Easy way to add an almost functional trainer aspect to a standard power rack. I installed I-bolts to the top of my posts instead of using the straps and it works out perfectly. The pulleys are smooth and quiet, the cables are a decent length and feel sturdy enough to handle whatever my rack can candle. Would recommend.

Can not believe the quality and the price!Superb value for money.Flexibility of use is perfect for me as I am adding to my existing power station that doesn't have cables!Have mounted to one side so it doesn't interfere with any thing else! Very happy! Highly recommended!

First off, for the price, you can’t go wrong. I was able to do a lot out of the box. The these pulleys are very nice and much nicer than what you can get at Home Depot. They have an extended bracket allowing you pass through the cable without disassembly. The pulleys are nice and silent and MUCH better than my other Home Depot pulley.I was surprised that I can pretty much do everything I wanted with the existing cables. The lengths are perfect with the additional chains. The cables are inexpensive so if I need more I can buy them. I also like these cables over building my own because they have the rubber stoppers built in.The attachments seem to be high quality, especially the rope. I do think the one straight handle is a little too short so I recommend buying a proper lat pulldown bar that will also help with doing curls and other lat exercises. My next recommendation for a purchase is to buy another pulley. I went and bought the upgraded pulley that comes with another strap and carabiner. That 3rd pulley opens up a lot more exercises including lat and bicep exercises. Super excited about that.If you’re on the fence, I don’t believe you can go wrong here. The price is perfect.

I have mine connected to my pull up/dip station in my bedroom. I have a pull up bar on my doorframe, suction one so can move it up and down as needed and put the pulley on that, good idea if U don't have much room. I use a foldable bench with this and powerblock dumbbells (just to help with ideas for little room)Wouldn't be without this bit of kit now, it makes a huge difference to training. IV been missing out on so much like lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns, straightbar cable curls, rows etc. For the money it's brilliant, more than happy. Used for around 6 months now and it's strong too, I use up to 80kg on mine for lats and cables aren't struggling, pulley doesn't need oiling or anything either. Spot on

I wish I had ordered this for my home gym years ago! The overall quality of this is fantastic. I was really surprised. Doesn't feel cheap at all. And set up is super easy. I simply hook it up to my pull up bar in the door frame. Takes about 20 seconds. Pile the weights on and go. I'm using standard plates and the loading pin measures about 13" tall. Plenty of room to stack a decent amount of weight on.For the last several years I've been using barbells and dumbbells. Basic stuff. But wow, it's so nice to have access to such a wide range of new exercises now!The only exercises that don't quite feel right are the cable flyes (when the pulleys are attached to a pull up bar) and bicep curls. With cable flyes in a gym, the pulleys are directly at your sides, which creates a constant tension on your chest muscles no matter where your arms are in the range of motion. When this set up is attached to your pull up bar at home, you have to step forward which moves the pulleys are behind you. So once your arms are pointed straight out in front of you, the tension is taken off your chest muscles and placed directly onto your shoulders and triceps. So at best you get the same stimulation you'd get from a dumbbell chest fly with the same limitations of that movement. For bicep curls, it just doesn't feel right when the loading pin is attached to the pulley and allowed to glide freely on the cable (like they show in the pictures). So an easy fix for this is to simply not use the cables. Load up the loading pin with your weights, attach the rope or straight bar to it, and do your curls that way. No cable needed. You get a lot more tension on your biceps that way than if you try to let the pulley glide freely on the cable.Otherwise, all of the tricep, shoulder, back and ab movements feel FANTASTIC with this set up. SERTT offers two different options for this set. One is a little cheaper and comes with fewer attachments and cables. I highly encourage you to spend the extra $10 on this one for the extra cables, attachments, and pulley. I'm constantly discovering new exercises to do and I wouldn't be able to do them without the extra equipment that comes with this $65 option.Highly, highly recommend this!
