Most of the smoothie products for babies and toddlers on the market have mostly sugary fruits with little to no protein. So, we set out to redefine the traditional smoothie. We aim for the perfect balance of sweet and savory to keep the sugar low, but the taste delicious! They're a great way to get more protein and veggies into your little one while still tasting like that creamy smoothie you crave.
  • GRASS FED COLLAGEN: Our Type I/III mix collagen is supplied to us from a community of farmers that practice regenerative agriculture in Brazil and Argentina. The cattle are grass-fed, pasture-raised, and non-GMO with no added hormones or antibiotics. Hydrolyzed collagen is sourced from the connective tissue, bones, cartilage, and hides of cows and broken down into smaller units of protein (collagen peptides) through a process called hydrolysis which can make them easier to digest and absorb.
  • HOW DOES IT TASTE? Our smoothies are smooth, creamy, and the perfect balance of sweet & savory. Deliciously crafted with coconut cream and organic vegetables, they contain 60% less sugar than other similar smoothie pouches.   • Unopened pouches can be consumed up to 18 months from the date of manufacture. You can find the best by date on the back of the pouch under the nutrition facts panel. Be sure to refrigerate it and consume or freeze within 24 hours of opening.

Upon trying this viscous 'smoothie', I called my partner over and said "babe, you have to try this stuff; it's poison."I mean, I might be the fool here because it lists the top ingredients and butternut squash and coconut cream and yup. That's exactly what it tastes like. Like someone mixed butternut squash and the top of a can of coconut cream. Unfortunately, this is, at least according to my taste buds, gross. Poison. I suppose it's nutritious but at what cost? I feel there are more delicious and less overwhelmingly thick methods of getting these nutrients. This might work if you have a child who doesn't know enough to conceptualize better flavor, but if you are an adult looking for a easy breakfast/snack with a bit of protein, look elsewhere. Does not taste like blueberries. Maybe after a few slurp-chews you can kind of sense the energy of blueberry but that's all.

Tried it. We’ll be sticking with Once Upon A Farm. It’s fresh (which is why it’s refrigerated) and is the once children’s nutrition brand that has earned the certified clean label. You can taste the difference for sure.
