Our Jalapeño package did not actually contain Jalapeño seeds. You can clearly see in the photo a Jalapeño I purchased from the store next to the plant and clearly the pepper is some kind of hot wax pepper and not what was labeled on the package.I only knocked off one star because the product arrived on time and undamaged and the seeds had a marvelous germination rate and the resulting plants were healthy and strong. Most of the other varieties seem to be accurate, the Hungarian black, Thai Chilli and Anaheim all appear to be what the tag says, the rest are only flowering right now so it is yet to be seen if they are accurately labeledIt's just really Dissapointing because the Jalapeños were what we were looking forward to the most, they're my husband's favorite and now that we have grown the plants it's far too late to reach out to the company for any kind of replacement/refundSo in closing, great surprise seed pack, if you're not too worried about what kind you get, go ahead and give it a gambleEDIT: knocked another star off because the poblanos turned out to be sushito

I ordered and sowed the seeds early this year with nearly 100% germination rates. Strangely, one packet yielded shishito peppers, which were not among the nine varieties in my set! Watching the remaining plants come in, it's TBD if these were in the poblano or bell pepper envelope. The shishitos were tasty, nonetheless. This is hardly a complaint.

Planted seeds for poblano peppers and ended up with a very small, skinny wrinkled pepper. Other pepper varieties were also this same small skinny pepper with wrinkled flesh. Looked like a plant that had been once hybrid that’s offspring had become one of the original parent plants, or had been cross pollinated with another pepper to create a pepper that produced a lot, but lacked size, lacked flesh, and took up space I could have been growing a plant more useful. It was also very irritating to airway to handle. Was mildly hot, but irritated airway when cutting, washing, handling.. like a hotter pepper but it’s flavor was more milder.

From left to right Aleppo,Anaheim,Cayenne,Fish, Habanero,Hinkelhatz,Hungarian Black,Hungarian Hot, Jalapeno, Poblano.I have these in a jiffy seed starter kit, which is fairly cheap and reuseable. All you have to buy is the jiffy pellets. You can also plant these in moist soil or even place in a wet papertowel in a ziplock bag with some good heat.I would also like to point out that pepper seeds are stubborn at germinating. The hotter the seeds the longer it usually takes. In fact my habanero and cayenne seeds are the slowest ones and the hottest ones in this group on the scoville scale. Don't give up on them it could be from 3 days to a few weeks.
