I got this gold sequined ribbon for Christmas crafting; I liked the size and the fact that it would be sparkly.This looks very pretty in person. It looks like a supersized, double rick rack, with string woven with golden threads making up one part and the sequin ribbon making up the other. It would be well suited to use as a trim for sewing projects or any number of crafting applications.The whole thing is held together with two pieces of string that look crocheted. These unravel very easily so you definitely just want to cut when you’re ready to use it, and it is likely worth reinforcing the back stitches for good measure. I had cut out a length to use on something and one of those back seams got caught on something and unraveled for a couple inches.Aside from this, once the trim is put in place I think it will hold up nicely. The strings that make up the “rick rack” feel sturdy and the sequins are well secured as well. As long as you know how to handle this kind of trim it should be a nice way to add some sparkle.
