I gave 5 stars because it's still a great product and gives you extra freedom with "special" space. But for me, it took a while until I got used to the extra pocket. Actually never got used to it. So I don't intend to buy more. I end up using my other traditional boxer briefs and just use these once in a while when I want to feel "special".

First and foremost, if you're the type to walk around your house in boxers, know that you will not be on Full Display! The boxers took about 2-3 days of getting used to. I figured I'd constantly feel the hole of the pouch throughout the day, but honestly once I had the boxers on I didn't even notice it even when I tried. When wearing, it basically feels like you're not wearing anything beneath your pants while at the same time getting support and marginally lifting your stuff just off of your leg. Additionally the fabric is thin enough to allow your skin beneath to breath very very well. Regardless of size, the pouch is VERY stretchy and quite comfortable about it.The bulge's obviousness will vary based on how thick or heavy the pants are. Barely anything can be noticed with jeans, but with lighter pants it becomes more obvious. When wearing just the boxers, this is even more noticeable due to the short legs. The fly is functional, but you'll have to re-teach yourself to use this style. It is strange at first, but again, after 2 or 3 days you'll figure it out and won't have to think about it. The "fun" comes when you decide to switch back to normal boxers with a fly.For those wondering the boxers are still comfy if you decide not to use the pouch. That is also to say that if you happen to fall out of the pouch, the boxers will still be comfy to wear. Falling out can occur if you attempt to pull the legs of the boxers down and inadvertently pull them down too far. You'll definitely need a trip to the bathroom or other private space to re-fill the pouch. In short, the learning curve is short and wearing them is surprisingly far more comfortable than I'd ever imagine. And while I definitely would not wear them with gym shorts or dress pants, I do think they can be quite comfy in other aspects of my life.

These Separatec boxer-briefs are so perfect for me, not too tight nor loose, so comfortable what with that bamboo fabric, I've had a couple brands of briefs in the bamboo and they were really good (I especially liked Knitlord for the elastic being sewn into the fabric) but THESE ARE THE BEST! I live in a hot climate almost year round and coolness is my #1 factor, is why I was reluctant to get boxers, but they defeat the heat! Outstanding quality (has that high-end packaging & smell as if it's expensive sporting goods) and built-in holstering achievements (although sometimes shrinkage makes it not in use, the slight codpiece does not let on to that fact lol) make this a superb addition to my routine attire. Gonna get more soon! Highly recommend *****

I've been wearing these pair for a little over a week now and I'm really glad I did. There's a lot of thought put into 'male comfort' compared to a lot of other underwear brands I've tried in the past. They don't feel too hot nor cold and the tag in the back is designed to be ripped off (no scratching or rubbing). There's a flap in the front that allows you to urinate without pulling the underwear down, kind of like traditional briefs. This is a big upside compared to other underwear that has a pouch or 'keyhole' in the front. I think the only minor downside is that they started to ride up the thighs with exercise or prolonged use, meaning I had to readjust a couple of times awkwardly. Other than that, I love these and will be buying more for sure!

I already had a bunch of Separatec underwear before I ordered these, but I wanted to try a new fabric (bamboo) and style (trunks). I gave these four stars because I really like them, but the ball pouch is so large that I keep slipping out. I fixed this myself by using a safety pin to make it half as large, and it worked. On the "Hole": Separatec is very good for guys with average or above-average length, especially for those who deal with discomfort, sweating, or the need to adjust during the day. They make you feel like you aren't wearing any underwear at all, but keep you dry and well-positioned. If you are below average length, you may find that you slip out while sitting, ruining the effect. On the appearance: These are best worn tight, which is VERY REVEALING. I tried to upload a picture of myself wearing these and was flagged by Amazon. They position you out in front, which can show quite a bulge in dress pants. That being said, they are very attractive and the trunk style really emphasizes size. I have a 31" waist, which is in between small and large, and I ordered the small. I think I should have ordered the medium (the waistband is a little tight and my wife said they look too small). On the fabric: The bamboo is really comfortable - it feels nicer than the cotton (but not quite as soft as the micro modal). They feel sturdy - I plan to treat them gently (wash on delicate and line dry) - but I suspect they could deal with the dryer if necessary. On the cut: The trunk style seems to be overall more comfortable than the briefs (but not as comfortable as the boxer briefs). I like having less fabric on my legs (less to bunch up). They also seem less constrictive for the ball cup (too much room, in fact). They look good on the rear as well.
