First hours of use and the effect is impressive. Just moved into a new apartment and my cat was extremely stressed even as I had calming diffusers around. I tried many brands of calming chews before and usually my cat doesn’t like them, with this one he liked them as regular treats. Within an hour he immediately relaxed and lounging on the couch.

Worked wonders on a rescued feral kitten, who was very, very hyper. He's 19 weeks old and just a little over 5 lbs. so we give him three chews in the morning and two chews in the evening, which works great. He's still playful (but not hyper and destructive) and is a loving snuggle bug - definitely recommend these Sentry Calming Chews!

A great product. It really works, but takes about 2 hours to kick in. I gave my 23-pound male tabby the prescribed dosage and waited. He didn't hesitate to eat them. He was mellow enough for me to get him to the cat carrier to take him to the vet (no scratches suffered on my part) but by the time we got to the vet an hour away, he was super mellow and not at all bothered by the dogs in the waiting room. I was worried that I'd have a wild animal on my hands from previous experience, but this was not at all the case. I highly recommend this product.

My cat went into heat n has been driving me crazy. Never tried these before but figured it was worth a try. Gave her the recommended amount of treats in the early evening & within an hour, she quit yowling like a maniac! She enjoyed the taste too. These work great! My sweet Razzle Dazzle is so calm. Day 2, gave them to her again. She is peacefully napping & calm again today. Still making small chitty sounds at the window, but zero yowling or screaming. These calming treats exceeded my expectations! Highly recommended.

This cat follows and checks out each room I go into. Thankfully she still does it but now naps a but more after eating these. She also bites less while playing. We got them for our other cat that is scared and anxious all the time. But I think she may not like them very much. She tried them the first day so she was actually nice and playful in the evening about a couple of hours after taking them. Only have a pic of one of my babies I'll update with a pic of my other scaredy-cat! Lol! So far I think they help. Just have to try them. All cats are different. Update: my security,black, cat is doing so much better she is more affectionate and bites less. Thank goodness! Lol! As for my gray scaredy cat, she is not taking a liking to the snacks. Can't get her to eat them. She has always been picky about what she will eat. I do recommend these! They do work!

My cat loves these treats so much. It says to give one treat per 1lb. My cat is 18lbs so I did not want to follow the directions and give her 18 treats. I give her 8 at night and it gently relaxes her. It’s not a harsh sedative so she doesn’t get all dopey. It had a nice light effect that helps relax her during night as she has a lot of disruptive nocturnal behaviour.

I've used other melatonin "treats" that work, but the cat doesn't like them and I have to take extreme measures to get my cat to eat them. These however, the cat loves, and as long as you give your cat enough of them (1 treat per pound) then they actually do work! I give about 12 of these treats to my cat (approx. 12lbs maybe a little more) and within about 30 minutes he gets relaxed and will usually sleep through the night. It definitely curbs his night howling which was my reason for buying these. Even if he does wake up during the night or too early in the morning, he stays quiet, there's less pacing, less anxiety meowing, and I can sleep through it all. These are the best I've found thus far and has become part of our bedtime routine. It really helps that he actually likes to eat them!

I absolutely love these chews for my cat! She loves the taste and it mellows her right down without her feeling drugged. She is a totally different cat. She struggles with fear and anxiety being a rescue cat. I’m so grateful to have found this product.

I have a senior cat with anxiety, potentially some dementia. He vocalizes randomly at the top of his lungs throughout the day and night. We were hoping this would help calm him and cut down on some of the yelling. The first time we gave it to him it seemed to make him sleepy and dopey but since then I really can't say it's made a noticeable difference. May work well for non regularly occurring issues such as moving or travel but did not work for his current issues. He likes the taste of them though they smell awful, giving 3 stars becuase i think the product does likely work for the right purpose.

I have two male cats (brothers) that can get a little wound up at times. One is more aggressive. I can give them some of these and it settles the household down. They seem to like the flavor and will eat them readily. Just make sure to read the label so you give them enough per body weight. Wish these were a little stronger because according to the label I need to give my big boy 17 pieces!!! I usually give him about 10 and it seems to work. Maybe it's just the break in the action that helps or these that help. Maybe I'll run an experiment next time and give them regular treats and see if they calm down, too. Will report back.
