TIPS

  • Before using our knitting machines, please make sure that the product has been installed correctly according to the video on the instructions and that it has been switched to the correct mode (P: flat weave/T: tublar weave). In addition, the counter only applies to the T mode.
  • Before using the machine, please use the handle to shake the machine once to ensure the smoothness of the handle and gears.
  • Use the correct thickness of yarn: 1.5mm-4.5mm yarn (neither too thick nor too thin).

If the Handle won't turn

  1. Please try to turn the handle without yarn, If it is still stuck, it should be that the gear is worn out and the gear on the handle needs to be replaced.
  2. If the hand crank is normal, but it is stuck at a certain spot, it may be that the mode of loop weaving and plain weaving is wrong. We recommend that you try to adjust to T gear.

Please note: Frequent and prolonged use of the machine may cause wear and tear on some of the crochet hooks or handles, which should be replaced promptly.

She uses it almost everyday, so happy to see her enjoying her hobby without having the hassle of time management and being complicated. it’s very simple to use. Takes a bit to get the hang of when putting the yarn in and making sure the yarn doesn’t drop the stitches (can become very frustrating) it works better with thinner yarn, can make a hat within 15 mins now!!!

Two skeins were about 1/3 used. Bummer. The suction cups were difficult to put on, def recommend lubricant. Otherwise, solid as heck. Can't wait to make adult sized hats.

I am absolutely loving this. I enjoy being crafty, but have limited time. This sentro knitting machine fits my needs and allows me to create and finish intricate projects in under an hour. It took a little getting used to, but I was able to watch a few videos and quickly adapt. The row counter is incredibly helpful and I love that it's built in. I wish there were a few more descriptors detailing the best yarns to use and I wish the yarns it comes with were longer. It would also be nice if there were details on where I could get more of the yarn that comes with it so I could make a whole project with what is provided. Overall, I'd definitely purchase again and am glad I got it!

The item was shipped poorly, with no packaging insulation (no packing peanuts, no bubble wrap, nothing) in a ridiculously oversized box. As a result, the machine arrived broken—the tension piece snapped completely off and the built-in row counter fully nonfunctional.Furthermore, the item description claims the knitting machine comes with these accessories: “a full set of crochet, 2 hand pins, 1 wire frame, wool thread (4 bundles of wool, 2 large and 2 small), 1 manual, 1 screwdriver, accessory bag (4 suction cups, 4 screws).” I received one plastic crochet hook, one plastic needle, two small balls of acrylic yarn (not four so-called “wool”).Point is—I do not recommend purchasing from this retailer! This is very clearly a knockoff, or at least it is the crude quality of one. An absolute waste of money. I plan to get rid of this one and purchase another from a more reputable source.

I got my machine in December and used it to make many hats during the following two months. It was a bit of a learning curve to understand it, but I persevered. As time when on it occasionally would jam but I was able to work it out until today a peg snapped. I am heartbroken. I wish there was a clear way to fix it but haven’t found any repair guide for it. Now I have a machine I can’t use because of one broken peg.So a word of warning, if you plan on using it a ton, look into care of the machine. I don’t know what I could have done differently but there probably was.

I had been wanting a knitting machine for a very long time, but never bit the bullet because of the bad reviews. I’m pleasantly surprised to say I love this machine, and most of the bad reviews are “user error”. I won’t lie I did notice that some yarns were “sticky” and it dropped/tucked a lot of stitches. I watched alot of YouTube for hints and most of them were suggesting to mess with the tension, and that just didn’t work. You need to weigh your work down (with more weight than you would think) I use an upside down pot lid and more weight inside of it. Now those “troublesome yarns” I don’t have anymore trouble with. It is 100% plastic and I’m not expecting it to last years of consistent use, but this machine has already paid for itself many times over.

I love this thing! It doesn't work with every yarn and it does take practice, but I watched quite a few videos before I even got it in the mail. I've made quite a few hats and a pair of mittens, and now I'm working on a blanket with it. If you're struggling with your yarn, look up some YouTube videos on troubleshooting knitting machines. I've been able to use Addi and Sentro instructions interchangeably without any problems. Usually it's an issue with either your tension or you need to have weight on your knitted fabric. It can be fussy but it's still WAY faster than knitting by hand and I love how easy it is!
