This silicone fidget toy is easy to travel with and very colorful. It is a quiet activity and with all the colors and grooves you can get creative with it. The one thing missing with this is that everything just softly pushes together, for one of my kids who is sensory seeking, the lack of the feel of things clicking or popping into place lessens the appeal. One of my kids really likes playing with this and exploring the designs she can make, another isn't really interested in it because of that lack of feeling the click of things.

I got this item for a young child. He gets anxious and hyperactive at times when there is a lot of noise or activity in his vicinity, so I was looking for a learning/quiet time type of activity to help bring his attention inward and focus on what is in front of him.I bought another brand and they’re similar in function but slightly different in size and color. The one you select should be of a color and shape that interests the child who will be using it. This product was my first purchase and is a solid blue color. He reacted well to it so I selected another multi-colored product to engage his attention further. He seems to enjoy both equally well as he continues to use both frequently and sometimes concurrently. He first played with it for about 5 minutes but after successive uses his playtime increased to approximately 20-30 minutes. He also plays with it when he’s at home so it’s not just for use during stressful times or around other people.I would recommend this product for a child who understands not to put toys in their mouth, which is usually school age of 5+, since the strings could pose a choking hazard for younger children. Also, you may want to get more than one, perhaps in a different color or size to amplify the child’s sensory experience.

This toy is awesome for keeping the kids entertained while I’m prepping dinner or on car rides. It feels sturdy, kind of like silicone, so it’s super easy to wipe down when it gets messy.The kids have fun with it, and it’s one of those things that just works. No fuss, no noise, just something simple to keep their hands busy. Definitely worth picking up if you need a little peace and quiet now and then.p.s. I like to play with it too. As someone who struggles with ADHD and a bit of Anxiety, it really is calming. Grab yourself one if you like to tinker mindlessly.

This thing is silent which makes it the perfect toy for church services, even if they drop the strands, they're silicone, so it's still quiet! I like that it's double sided and this particular one doesn't have a bunch of pink and purple strands (just one of each), also that each strand is a different color is nice. Feels thin but durable. It's a bit smaller than I expected but totally perfect for young kids to easily handle. Great quiet gift for a 2-4 year old Id say. My 3 year old loves it and is entertained for quite a bit.

I got this for my 4-year-old son, but to be honest, it's so satisfying to play with as an adult. The "strings" are flexible and can really be bent in any direction. The lines and grid on the mat have a nice, tactile feel. I also like that it will be easy to clean off and disinfect in the sink when it gets dirty.

I think this will occupy the kids when traveling or out to eat. A great alternative to being on an IPad, easy to pack, and bright eye appealing colors. Could be great for seniors experiencing dementia for a calming effect.
