The HD 25 LIGHT Headphone from Sennheiser provides high-quality audio in a lightweight and improved design. It can be used in several applications for monitoring, recording, DJing, and more. Featuring the same technical specifications and most importantly the sound as the original HD 25, the mechanical joint between the actual ear-cups and the headband has been improved and its joints are now more solid, providing a smoother adjustment for a better fit.It comes with an Auray COHH-1 Headphone Holder with Padded Cradle and Adjustable Angle attaches to either a horizontal or vertical surface in order to support one full-sized pair of headphones. Plus a Hosa HPE-310 cable features rugged molded plugs and a durable outer jacket for long-term use.

We used it for 10 minutes and it broke. One of the ears stopped working and you couldn’t hear anything.

Basically, if you are getting these to travel and need the ear cups to swivel, so they can sit flat, like a book, Look elsewhere because these don't swivel. I thought all HD 25 Light did this.

I bought my first headphones in the 70's: the Sennheiser HD424 , an early open-air design. I loved the simplicity and extremely accurate reproduction. I bought these because they had a similarly simple headband. I am less happy with the closed-cup design, but i can live with that as long as the reproduction is great and they are somewhat robust ...which they seem to be. They exert slightly more pressure on the head, which could bother somewhat over longer sessions, but they stay on and don't have easily-breakable details. They fit my purposes almost as well as the long-discontinued HD414s.

My headphones after a few weeks of use started to have issues with the sound going in and out. The leads on the cord are not long enough and if you sometimes pull on the cord the speaker will having a sound flicker issue.In hindsight I would not buy these and would have spent $25 more on the regular pro version that have the better cord that you can’t accidentally tug out of the speaker.However the sound quality of the speakers once they do work is really good and I can monitor my mixes over pretty loud systems.
