They may be thinned with turpentine and worked with a brush, are acid-free and can be applied to any surface. The set includes 72 color pastels.

This may be the last time in a while I can enjoy these beautiful pastels. I have never used anything so soft that you can take a palette knife and create. You can use your fingers.....stumps.....whatever your mind allows. I feel blessed to have this new box as my other one is down to stumps. Thank you Sennelier, I will be doing an unboxing and demo for my YouTube fans soon.

With Sennelier there is nothing to say sometimes bad about them! There are buttery with good consistency which the Haiya are more oily and transparent with the same numbers and names! But some colors are different from Haiya with darker colors! But of them are convenient to have with the Sennelier one for softer paints and Haiya for impasto use with Sennelier over them! The Sennelier will be always the best of the best for the oil pastel lover!

Product shipped with minimal additional packaging, arrived in perfect condition. These pastels are excellent professional quality. They are very soft and buttery, which makes them useful for finishing touches over other harder pastel brands. The colors in the set are overall very good, although I did set aside a few that are really too transparent for the way I intend to use these most of the time.

It is a joy to use! I’ve never had a high end, pro grade oil pastels before. The difference is really amazing for a hobbyist like me. I don’t regret getting this set. But given the high price, I’ll use these sparingly... like as finishing touches as they add beautiful textures to the art work.The shipping and delivery was fast. Properly packaged. No damaged sticks. Also there’s a State ofCalifornia warning label on cancer and such, I checked every stick and there’re 3 sticks that does not have ACMI AP seal. So I’ll just be hygienic and careful when using those 3 sticks. Anyway, I’m not going to ingest this so that’s fine. And the sticks are so creamy, there are no dust to inhale.
