SEM Trim Paint Surface Preparation: Wash the part thoroughly with 39362 SEM Soap. Clean with good quality Grease and Wax remover such as SEM 38373. Sand with 400 grit sandpaper and reclean with G&W remover. Mask off all areas not to be coated to protect from overspray. Apply light mist coats evenly allowing 5-10 minutes between coats. Several thin coats are better than 1 heavy coat. Salesman Note: Don't rush to install the part. Trim Paint adhesion improves with time. Decided to try this out for my Jeep trim and it worked great! Cleaned the area with a degreaser and then I sprayed it with the SEM Adhesion promoter, not a primer. Did about 5-6 coats. Only used one and a quarter can for two fender flares and Front bumper. Turned out great, we will see how long it lasts I’ll try to update in a few months.Edit: 7 months later and still looks amazing with jeep being stored outside!

I used this to repaint all of the trim on my Foxbody Mustang. The previous worn out faded trim went to brand new factory looking with some prep work BEFORE spraying the trim paint. Its worth every dollar. I have also used SEM interior paint also. Great products!

Incredible product, but use horizontal as much as you can, last 20% of can is garbage and don't use it, it'll ruin your project (low spray velocity starts to splatter). Also only spray around or below 40% humidity and above 60 degree temps (if possible). do proper prep and use an adhesion promoter (bulldog / etc.) and you'll get results.

I repainted the hard top on my Wrangler TJ. Just cleaned it thoroughly and roughed it up with scrubby pad and then gave it a few coats. Even my wife admits it looks like new. Doing the bumpers next. Took about 4 cans to do the roof. Cans don't spray well when horizontal if you can put your item in position to keep the cans vertical they work a lot better.

Great professional spray paint. Covered my jeep wrangler top well with OEM like color. Cant really comment on how well this will hold up to elements. But product deffently meets expetations.

First can was great, second and third had bad nozzles. Did not have any fan, sprayed out in straight line. Haven’t tried any since, had to fix the excessive build up where I tried spraying.
