It works. I used this for my tuba, just put it in the middle of the valve and on the outside face of the valve. It slides smoother now. Good purchase.

other than getting the bottle off (safety seal and all that) it's all good and brought back memories of my first trumpet playing as a (wee) five year old - time goes by but HOLTON VALVE OIL stays the same!

I have a relatively new Bach 42AF trombone and the first oil I used gummed it up a bit. Switched to Holton Rotary Valve Oil and the Infinity Valve on my trombone works smoothly

Great oil, but bottle is not as pictured. Bottle received was cylindrical and taller. It doesn't fit in my Holton case's tiny storage compartment :(Edit 5/26/2017: Image has changed to match the bottle delivered. Good job Amazon!
