I originally bought these at a big box store maybe Lowe's and was very impressed with them. Then I brought another brand at HD in a yellow box I don't know what they were but the fabric was not cotton or paper I don't know what it was it was synthetic like gauze and not very absorbent and just bizarre. These are much more like a good quality paper towel like Viva or something but stronger. The quality is fine enough to polish sculptures or even wax your car in my opinion. So these were only sold on Amazon in a carton of six and that was more than I really need but I got them anyway I guess I'll have a 10-year supply. But despite this fact they were actually shipped in two boxes, one with four units and another shipping box with two units. They were not cartoned together at all but just six loose boxes. I would love to just be able to buy one or two boxes on Amazon is that too much to ask?

Love these rags. They are very strong and durable don't tear and I haven't had an issue with them leaving lint behind on my class tables. We have six dogs so have lots of times we need to use these for throw up etc. LOL! just like kids!

I did some calculations and these are a little cheaper than good quality paper towels, but twice as strong and useful. I am sure they would stand up well for some kind of commercial use such as a mechanic shop or paint shop but I use them at home.We normally use paper towels and dishcloths in our kitchen, but I was often not pleased with how the dishcloth would smell if it sat there too long. We would hand wash them with bleach each day and it was just such a chore. We needed something that could act like a dishcloth but be disposable. This is the product! Not sure what it is made of entirely but it feels and acts like a mix of cloth and paper. You can use it to wipe up a mess, wash it under the tap and go back to wiping up the mess some more...We generally have a few of them lying about during the day for use over & over...then throw them all out at night.

I use these towels in my van. The boxes are smaller than the "SHOP TOWEL" and "RAGS IN A BOX" brands and fit perfectly in a crate I keep between the two front seats. The towels are just as durable as the other two brands and take up less space. I especially liked buying them by the case since I use them a lot, and I won't have to order them as often. I am also a big recycling fan, so buying them helps support that cause. Great product !
