Headed on a 3 week trip camping I've been looking for decent mattress support without the space issues that foam or air mattress cause. I picked this one up for this purpose. This is a rather long mattress offering extend support for tall folks however it's not very wide. I like the build in pillow which offers additional head support and may allow some people to kick the pillow out of the packing list. It has a blow-up foot pump feature that allows you to inflate your mattress without the necessity of a build in or external pump which is nice, but I found it took a lot longer to inflate than my other 3 foot pump backpacking mattress. It does deflate fairly quickly, and the side snaps allow you to fold and secure the mattress before rolling it up. Stowing it in the provided pack might be a chore for some. This is fairly light weight and small once packed so might be a good addition for back packing. It allows for decent support, but if you are heavier like myself (190 lbs) you will find this does little good for those pressure points especially if you are a side sleeper. Additionally, the crinkle sound of the plastic mattress is really annoying when in use. This isn't a bad mattress, but not great. For me it's a step up from ground sleeping but offers very little support for my pressure points. I love the length, but it could be a bit wider to support those with wider widths. At the present price of $22.99 + 15% coupon, I think this would honestly be an inexpensive choice for Scouts. I would not recommend this mattress for heavier side sleepers.

Easy to inflate and quite comfy. The material seems a little thin but I don't plan to be rough with it or use it that often, so it should be fine. Just adds another layer to my camping bed setup.

I don't go camping but I chose the LJINNOVEX Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad as a comfortable nap mat for when I have to work late at the office. The mat is lightweight (only weighs 1.5 lbs) and comes with a handy built-in foot pump and pillow. You can also use it as a cushy picnic mat at home, indoors or outdoors. I use it with a soft fleece blanket to minimize squeaking, I may add a thin foam liner to it for further noise reduction. My use for this mattress is a bit more mundane. But I think it could be a fun, comfy mat for kids and their backyard tents during the summer.

I am not sure how long this will last...it's not really heavy duty...but I'm enjoying it and it's a lot more comfortable to sleep on than my old closed cell mat.Foot pump is nice.I get tired blowing these things up.Nice to just step on something to inflate it.In comparison to my old sleeping on the ground solution, this is the height of comfort.

This sleeping pad worked great for me on a recent cold-weather hammock camping trip in the Midwest. I like to use an air mattress in my hammock for a little extra comfort and it helps push the sides away from me to give me a little more room to move. The sleeping pad was simple to fill up and easy to fold up and store into its own pouch.
