As other reviewers have noted the quick connect piece is very cheap. Mine broke today only after 4 times out on the lake. I only have a 60hp pontoon boat and this quick connect couldn't handle pulling people more then 4 times. Very cheap and the hooks are very small as well. Only reason I bought this was for the length it provides away from the motor. Would not recommend.

Well made only thing is we had problems getting the locking carabiner to fit the fastener on our pontoon.

The molded toe hook end (plastic molded piece) broke while we were in the middle of the lake, with my kids were on the tube. ( ages 14 & 17, and they are both under 150lbs).We were on holidays for a week, and this happened mid week! So we couldn't go tubing the rest of the trip!

This is a great tow line for skiing and wakeboarding. It centers itself so dramatically decreases the sudden drop in speed when changing directions outside of the wake. Makes it so much easier to switch back & forth quickly and get some quick momentum for jumps. It does add a bit of stability when whipping the kidos around on the tube which is a tiny bit less fun for my kidos but may be great for those that are a little less adventurous. The clips are sturdy marine grade stainless steel and both ends have floats on them which is a nice detail. The nylon is smooth & braided for strength & durability. It has worked great for us this summer season.

After about a month of regular tubing, the white quick connect piece broke while pulling a tube. That piece got lost in the lake, but looking at the rope, I’d have to think the plastic just snapped.

My new (to me) boat is not equipped with a tow pylon for tubing/skiing/wake boarding. As such, I have been looking for a tow harness that could be attached to the tie-down brackets on the stern and go around both of my outboards. I saw this YAXSHIMU tow harness and ordered the same. The harness is made of strong but buoyant poly rope and is rated for up to a two-person tow tube. It comes with an easy to use quick connect for your tow rope. I was concerned that the stainless steel pulley would be too heavy and sink down toward my prop at idle, however, after inspecting the foam float, I do not believe this will be a problem. The harness has two heavy duty stainless steel clips which (see photos) easily fit through my transom brackets even while the tie-down hooks were in the bracket. As you can see in the photos, the harness allows plenty of space to clear both of my outboards even while moving to the left or right. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to photograph the harness in use but I wanted to get this review posted before my next scheduled lake outing. Based on the overall build and quality, the price point seems very reasonable to me and, obviously, it perfectly solved my lack-of-a-tow-pylon problem! Five stars.

I really like the design of this tow harness, but it sinks. Basically the pully is too heavy for the foam floats. The rope floats and the plastic connector float fine. I think the photos show it all. Maybe it floats in saltwater? In fresh water it will get way too close to your prop.I attached a small boat fender then it floats fine. If you don't mind providing extra flotation then this is a good tow harness. The two hooks work great for attaching to the back of my boat and I like how easy it is to attach the tow rope to the plastic connector (no knots or hooks needed).

I had a friend break down and this worked great being able to use both eye hooks on my ski to tow him back seemed to keep the ski directly behind me (except during any sharper turns) Used it again for towing a tuber. The only thing I did to make this a bit better was added a floatation device to keep the center of the rope from skimming the water and shooting water up at tuber. This towing rope is great addition to the skiing accesories.
