The velcro sticks firmly. In fact, careful when you open the package, as each sheet of strips will stick to its opposite right away and it can get messy. So keep the sheets apart. The adhesive isn't that strong though. I bought these for hanging "twinkle" lights along my ceiling, and some stuck and others didn't.

I was a bit thrown by other reviews to buy this at first. Then I watched a video done by a teacher. I have to make laminated projects for students and these really came in handy. Plus, it was a good price. I will buy these again.

These are so easy to use and remove! They are the best Velcro to use within my classroom. The strength is great and it functions well when needing Velcro for behavior charts and visual schedules! This a must for teachers! I have purchased this many times! I plan to buy these!

They’re so strong that they arrive loose in the package. They’re also smaller (3/8”) than advertised.
