Super convenient, easy for a quick diy to jazz up some soft undershirts/nightshirts. I did 4 men’s tall xxl and just played with the colors, scrunching & folding. Let dry for two days jic then into the dryer. Waited until the following week to put them in the (cold) wash & tossed one of those Shout color absorbing sheets in with them jic. Pleased to report that the Shout sheet picked up no lost color and that two years in the colors are still bright & happy. I just used up the rest of the dyes to make a boring waterproof mattress cover more fun (there was enough for both sides of a double bed sized cover). Will order again

Purchased for my summer camp. Kids had a great time. Relatively easy to use. Easy clean up with soap and water. Lovely vibrant colors.

This product is amazing!! I got it because I wanted something easy for my toddler class to use to dye their shirts!! I read through the reviews and true to their word, the sprays clogged, but I ran to the dollar store and bought the small spray bottles and transferred the dye! It worked perfectly and my 1-2yr old class was able to use them with minimal help!! The directions were easy to follow, but could use more directions when it comes drying the item of clothing. I ended up following one of the other reviews and I air dried it, into the dryer for 30 minutes, rinsed with hot water and then into the dryer again!! The colors popped!! The orange, purple, pink and blue are very vibrant! Be careful when mixing the darker colors together, if they bleed too much, they turn brown. I was able to dye 15 toddler sized shirts and still have enough dye for probably 15 more!

I followed the enclosed instructions, shaking the dye bottles before use, letting the dye dry completely. Then heat set, then wash regularly (no bleach). Colours came out faded. Also, I had three spray nozzles clog up. Ended up interchanging a nozzle that kept working and pumped till the colour changed. Lots of wasted dye. Would not recommend or buy again.

This is the second time I have bought this brand of tye dye paints. They are good paints and they are color fast. Not fading with washing.

I bought these to add color to intentionally bleached shirts/designs. The instructions are clear the bottles tend to drip a little bit more than what I expected but overall the colors are really great. I will say that the colors do not stay as vibrant once they have been heat set and then washed. I expected the colors to be a little more vibrant, but overall I am pleased with this product. A little goes a long way which is good because there isn’t a lot in the bottles. Overall pretty pleased, but wonder if there are larger quantities that could be used in the spray bottles as refills.

1) shake the bottles --SIDE TO SIDE--, not up and down. Side to side shaking mixes the suspension in the bottle without jamming a bunch of powder into the spray mechanism. I found it easiest to shake them up while all the bottles were in the ppackage they are sold in; just laid the box so all the bottles were on their side, and shook them side to side all at once, left them on their sides until I was using that colour, where I picked it up and gave it a quick side to side shake before each few sprays.(This is common knowledge in the mixed media community where there are a number of products that require this. Didn't think it could be so important, but I've wrecked entire sets of sprayers and no longer have that issue.)2) clean your sprayers at the end of your creative session. Yes, you lose a little product, and will be putting a straw of water back into the bottle after, but this is negligible compared to keeping your sprayer working the entire bottle, and even repurposing afterwards. To clean, remove the spraying appararatus from each bottle after use, immerse it in a bowl of just water, and activate the sprayer maybe a dozen times. This flushes out product residuse that can damage your sprayer if left to dry in situ.3) I got much, much smoother results if I misted the surface I was working on with a little water first. I let it sit for thirty seconds before moving on to the spray dye.I absolutely love this product, it's helping me salvage my first tie dye attempt that did not turn out as desired. Also tried it on primed canvas board that was misted with water first. It's way smoother and less porous than the canvas drop cloth and the result was very smoothly blended, so much so that I lost most of the texture and contrast, next time I will use sprays with more contrasting colours on the canvas board. I started with the Celestial colourway despite the glow in the dark bottle not being my thing, am going to supplement it with a yellow and a citrus green, or get a kit that includes colours like that because while I appreciate the place the glow in the dark spray has, I really want a bright yellowy hue for my cosmic look.

It was way easier to do then regular dye kits and the colors are amazingly bright even after washing them. I was even able to tie dye a ball cap in minutes.I have never used such an easy kit before! Never had such bright colors before. The spray bottles got a little clogged on two of the bottles but I cleaned them all off and put the cap On them when I wasn’t using them that helped tremendously. You have to spray more then you think even if it looks like it’s drenched because there is a lot of white left over if you don’t but I had half bottles left over after doing the amount in the punctures I posted and I only used 3 colors for the most part out of an 8 piece kit. Only down fall is I had to purchase at $50 the first time because the price went up right before I bought it. I was mad about that. I just bought it again at $19.99. The price it was the day before I purchased it the first time. I will buy this product over and over again. But over all I love this kit! I have several other sei kits to try I only made it threw one so far!

Used this set of dyes to dye the skirt I made for my prom. They were lovely and vibrant, but some colours were easier to use than others - some didn't spray properly and this led to some of the dye going to the wrong place. The green mixed with the yellow accidentally at the back and it ended up looking rather muddy, but it worked well enough. Haven't washed it yet, so I don't know if there'll be an issue with the colour washing out. xx

Love this tie dye. I have used Tulip dye in the past and it is so messy and the dye runs when you wash it - not to mention how it stains my hands! This dye is wonderful stuff. I tie dyed more than a dozen baby onsies and a dozen baby socks and still had lots of dye left over. It is true that the dye doesn't get into the creases as well as a poured dye if you are doing a design where you have the item balled up with rubber bands - I just made sure i pulled the creases apart and sprayed into all the folds. The spray tops are a bit of a pain since the neon colors especially seem to like to clump a bit. I just diluted the colors a little with water and that helped and didn't seem to affect the actual color on the shirt at all. I plan to buy some small squeeze bottles to put the dye in to make rubber banded designs easier in the future. Hours of spraying did a number on my index finger also - but it was worth it! Washed all the stuff first and then dyed it damp. Let it air dry and then made sure to heat set it in the dryer for half an hour. I made sure to only put like colors together. Then washed in hot water and dryed in the dryer again. I did not see any color washing out in the washing machine and the colors were almost as bright when I was done as when I sprayed them. There was a tiny amount of fading after washing in the hot water, but hardly noticeable. Best of all, I was able to simply wipe the area where I sprayed clean with a damp cloth and all they dye came right off of my hands with soapy water and I didn't use gloves at all so they were pretty well covered in dye. I did need to use a nail brush for my nails and cuticles, but it still came right off. I will say I doubt the dye would go as far as they say if you want really saturated shirts and don't dilute the dye at all, but I have the same problem with the Tulip dye - I just like less white on the shirt. All in all, wonderful product!
