This is a very good cutter and works as advertised. We have steel roofing we needed this for, it worked great. I was hoping it would work on a window a/c unit to cut up the housing, it wouldn't work for this as the metal is too tight for the tip to fit between the walls of the unit.This cutter is well-made. I really like it but there are a couple things I don't like; the bottom is angled so I cannot set it upright when working it has to be on its side. I also think the design makes it difficult to remove the battery as I had to pay attention to not hold the trigger when I was getting the battery off, it is tight which is good but makes it difficult to remove plus the lock for the trigger is a switch which slides down right above the trigger to unlock it. I had to be careful when I removed the battery not to accidentally grab the switch and slide into the trigger. Even with these 2 issues I still love the tool. It has worked great for everything but the a/c unit. I think the price is good for quality of the tool.

Nice nibbler BUT it takes its own 21 volt battery.. does not take 20 volt

This works great, makes any diy project. Really makes light work of the metal cutting. The battery life is okay but could be better. Is pretty sturdy.

Unfortunately I only had the one project I needed this for and I didn't remember to take video, but that project involved 1/10 in thick aluminum sheets and the listing only claimed it was capable of slightly less thick aluminum than that, but this still did the trick! I would absolutely recommend this, but I will say I definitely pushed it to the limits so I would recommend staying within the manufacturer thresholds.

I ordered this cordless nibbler to trim flashing for a deck project, and I'm impressed with the build-quality of the nibbler, and the cutting speed and power. The kit includes everything needed to get started, including an extra nibbler tip, a battery and charging station, tools, and the cordless nibbler.This metal cutter easily cut through the aluminum deck flashing without any issues. It's very fast and requires a bit of practice to cut straight as it has a tendency to walk due to the sheer speed and power. The nibbler is hefty and feels well-constructed. I expect it to hold up well over a long period of time. My only concern is the availability of parts and replacement batteries in the future, when and if needed.
