Literally the first branch, the saw stopped working and the battery started smoking. Had to throw the saw down to avoid being electrocuted! Do NOT buy! Cheap junk.

I bought this product looking for a cheap saw that I could leave roll around in the box of my truck and not pay to much concern to it seeing as it's a FRACTION of the price of my Milwaukee Fuel Pole Saw or my Gas-Briggs Pole Saw..Even though I wasn't looking to break the bank, I still wanted to spend my money on something quality that I felt would last some years so after a bit of research I decided to give this Seesii Pole Saw a try!..After a quick assembly I was fairly impressed but wasn't completely sold yet.. to be completely honest there are a couple plastic parts that I was a little worried about but after a little playing around and a couple dry runs I was ready to put it to the test!Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The saw ate through limbs up to 3ish inches inches diameter like it was nothing!! Don't get me wrong, it's not built like a tank like my Briggs and the battery doesn't last as long as my Milwaukee but I was VERY (and I mean VERY) pleasantly surprised!!I've used the Seesii a number of times now and it hasn't missed a beat! It's not self oiling (most brands aren't) but as long as you pay some attention I see no reason this saw wouldn't last me for a number of years to come! The only thing that I felt like was a bit of a setback is the chain tension.. it seems to lose tension a little faster than my other saws but that's no issue.. only takes a second to bring it back to tight!Honestly overall I'm very happy with this purchase.. for the price it's a fantastic little tool! If you're up in the air, give it a shot!! You may be as surprised as I was!!!

This is my second Seesii saw (first was the 6 inch chainsaw) and I'm so happy with the product. It's already gotten a great workout and removed several tall branches with many more planned. Instructions were clear and I've had zero issues. Very satisfied.

This saw paid for itself the first time I used it as far as I'm concerned. It take stress off the back and body from having to wield a full sized chainsaw for de-limbing fallen trees. We had a bad winter storm with super heavy snow and wind that took down a LOT of trees and branches. There was and still is a tremendous amount of cleanup. This saw allows you to more easily cut away the tree canopies/branches before sawing up the tree trunks and larger branches.Battery life is reasonable but I found a weakness. This saw likes to jump or bounce when freestyle cutting branches. I didn't think anything about it other that is was a bit annoying, until one day I realized it was not cutting all the way through, say, a 2" branch. The chain was still sharp, so that wasn't the problem. Upon further inspection, I realized that the chain bar groove was a little bit "mushroomed" or damaged, so after the chain got through the wood, the bar was now wider than the chain preventing the bar from easily passing through along with the cut.I realized I could flip the bar, putting the damaged edge up. But I was also able to skillfully hammer/tap (I'm pretty good with tools, and an old metal guy, so I have the instinct for this) the edge back in to shape and file it clean. So, all that "bouncing" actually showed how weak the metal chain bar groove. I know to avoid that bouncing as much as possible now.SeeSii customer service was responsive and led me to where I could buy a new bar (only with a new chain too), which is good. More than 25% the cost of the entire tool that came with 2 batteries and two chains, but at least its available so the whole tool doesn't become useless at some point. This tool is a good trial tool, to tell me when it fails, to invest in a professional quality version. The concept itself is so useful.I saw reviews from people complaining it's not for left handed people. I'm right handed, but one of the things I like about this tool is I can easily operate it ambidextrously. In fact, holding it with the left hand makes it a natural position to hold the safety button...actually defeating the purpose of the safety button, which is fine by me. I would rather not have the safety button anyway.

I heat my home with wood, so I am very experienced with using a full-sized gas chain saw. With that said, I have found this mini, 4" chain saw to be an incredible tool for trimming small tree limbs and brush around my multi acre homestead. Two things convinced me to buy this particular saw. Number 1: I watched a You Tube video from a man using this saw. I was impressed with the amount of limbs and saplings he cut on a single battery charge. I was also impressed with how quickly the saw cut its way through the limbs up to about 3 inches in diameter. Number 2: The saw will accept a Makita battery or a generic brand made for Makita. I did not want a unique battery that might not be available in the future. The accessories that came with the saw (hard case, extra battery, tool kit with chain files) have also been great to have. Initially, and after making 4-5 cuts, I put a few drops of chain saw bar oil on the chain and bar. I keep the chain tensioned properly, and this little saw just keeps going and going until just a moment before the battery finally dies. Then, I just pop in the spare battery and continue cutting. I no longer have to use limb loppers or a folding limb saw to do my yard maintenance. I did purchase an extra guide bar and chain, for about $9. I can keep the chain sharp using the included 3 mm round file. I wish I would have had this tool years ago.

I bought this saw to use as a clean up saw around my property. I have 67 acres with several km of recreational trails, and many times the gas powered chainsaw is overkill for trimming the brush back. This little saw is light weight and easy to use.I am pretty impressed with it so far and have used it for about 3-4 hours of brushing. This is a real time saver as the stuff I am cutting is too thick for a set of pruners and I would normal use a handsaw. This saw saves time and energy and allows me to get more done. My wife has also used it and loves it.I gave this a 4 out of 5 as the chain needs to be adjusted often and the battery life is good, but not great. The upside is it comes with 2 batteries, however it takes less time to drain one then it does to charge.

I got one and it was defective and did not work. Well, the company replaced it and i am so thankful! This saw works great! It was hard at work all day - cutting down dead vines, small baby trees, raspberry canes, small branches. My arm was not tired as it is sturdy but still light weight. If you get a defective one, don't give up. Get it corrected - getting one that works - it works super well and comes with tools and extra chain and two batteries ( 2 have served me for about 6 hours total and the second was still going (first one ran out of energy and needed recharging). I went from very disappointed to recommend without hesitation.
