I want to 5 star this but it needs tweaks to be useful and not confusing. Great concept! I do hope the creator will continue working on this valuable, jam-packed, journaling game set. As an adult with ADHD I totally ate this game/journal/activity up - for the 1st 40 minutes. Then I got so confused and mind-boggled that I set it aside and didn't pick it up for months because of what I call perfection procrastination. I admire the creator and their mind process and even went to their social media and watched all of their videos trying to get a better understanding of it because I was thinking perhaps I was thinking about it too much and making it more difficult. I wanted to understand it completely because this is something that, after you spend some time learning of it, you realize you can't just hand it to a preteen or teen and expect them to run with it independently. They will definitely need a little (or a lot of) hand holding and explaining certain things.Its very colorful, fun, step by step but from the step by step you also seem to be able to go off into different directions and tangents and that's where it gets confusing. There are many many journaling opportunities and prompts for the teen to use or even just jot thoughts about.I think you get TONS for the price. Whether you'll use it all is up to you and your teen. Even if you just used it from time to time or for an every other check-in type "hey lets do a few pages in this book this weekend!" type of journaling game. I like that its set up like an adventure because our lives are all an adventure and I love showing a young person that they can think of their own life as an adventure and they are the main character of their lives.I was provided this Seek & Succeed in exchange for a Vine review and, while I love it, it can be made easier and more user friendly. As it is I think it would be great as a group activity like a trusted adult or adults leading a group of 3-5 pre-teens or teens and them all discovering the steps as a group. Without helpful guidance and without fun encouragement and reaching milestones with other teens I think this would quickly become a great item that just finds its permanent home on a shelf.
