Perfect size for starting seeds. Great functionality with the humidity adjustment on the dome. The plastic tools are sturdy. Easy to clean.

Nice set - love that the dome is extra high, allowing it to remain in place even when the seedlings begin to grow. Good deal with lots of little extras.

Overall, there are more problems with this setup than I expected. The price and sturdy trays make the setup reasonable and worth buying. But if you need precision in your project (light strength or timing, tight fitting lids, etc.), look elsewhere.Pros* The silicone trays, which were what I really cared about here, are nice and seem reasonably sturdy and reusable.* The full setup does a good job of retaining moisture. I've just been spritzing the seeds a little bit once a day.Cons* Small* Lids don't fit tightly on the trays* The light only works at the high setting - at all 3 other setting it was a strobe light.* The timer does not adjust. Pressing it (and holding it, even) does nothing. There is only one setting, green, and it is more like 10 hours.

I don't do a lot of reviews but I am really impressed with this set up. I purchased this less than a month ago and I have already had to transplant my 1st seedlings and have started more!! They literally start growing within the 1st week and are pushing the tops off after 3! It was little difficult to get them out to replant them into bigger pots but they are all still doing really well!

I have had seeds in this for 3 weeks and it has not done anything but molded my good seeds. No growth from any of my seeds. So many seeds have been ruined. Time and money has been wasted. Now I must purchase more seeds and start all over. I have never seen anything like this before. I started seeds last week in another product and i have growth already. You live and learn I guess. Will not be recommending this product.

My only gripes about this product are two things. One, the tops really don't fit perfectly. Not a deal breaker because the seal is good enough to make it very humid inside, but would be better if they fit snug. They just kinda sit on the bottoms. You can tell they were designed to snap on but they wont. Two, the timer is nowhere near any of the times it's supposed to be. So if you're trying to synchronize with natural daylight, it's going to be impossible. I set the timer for 7AM for 12hrs and it went off early and it went on earlier than 7AM the next day. Dealbreaker? Not really. Eventually after the seeds are germinated you can start to slowly take them from inside to outside to get them acclimated with real sun and your real climate. I wish I had enough time to sit there and figure out just how off the timer is. Maybe I will put my indoor ring camera on it and revisit this review for how bad off it is exactly for each setting. As far as the silicone trays. They are awesome. Honestly that is worth every penny. I mean the thing was cheap to begin with. I can't complain about the price. I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe I should leave it a 5 star in that respect, but they gotta get the timer right and maybe I would consider it.
