5 star reviews based on use of this same product over the last 25 years. I've had 6 different sets of these over the years on various vehicles. These are great chains. Overall 3 Star review based on the company cheaping out and not suppling a carrying case for these. All the other sets purchased over the years have always included a convenient storage/carrying case. These arrived in a cardboard box. That was falling apart on delivery. Storing these and carrying them in a vehicle will now be a pain in the A**.

I bought these for my Ram 1500 with Artic claw winter tires. Easy to put on and are heavy duty . Worked well in the snow and ice and also the mud. Helped get me out of a couple of jams on my last moose hunt, glad I bought them.

Great product. We used them in over 30 inches of snow in the mountains. Put them on and took them off in subzero temperatures with no issues. Quick and easy.

They are probably good chains if the company gives you the correct size . I purchased the ZT835 chains based on the peerless chain website recommendation. I am no idiot but I wrestled with these chains for several hours and the only way I could get them to hook onto my tires was by connecting them incorrectly according to the instructions. I firmly believe these are not the correct size for my tires which are 275/60 R 20 . Also they are S class rated but the Clearance on the inside is not good because they use cable connectors that take up a lot of space and they nearly hit the brake lines on my vehicle. Unfortunately I learned a $155 lesson.

Great product! We recently moved up a mountain in Alaska, we get some pretty serious ice and snow up here. After a complete runaround on snow tires from the shops, for my wheeling rig I decided on these sweet set of chains. Most of the reviews are from Comercial truckers so I knew it would be a good product. After our first snow 2’ I installed them on the rig. Super easy install without having to move the truck. I figured we’d have a bad weather truck vs. being stuck on the mountain. About a week later had a great opportunity to try them out. An electric contractor’s van slid way off the mountain on the ice. I was able to get to them no problem and recover them back to the road.I’d highly recommend these chains. Rode well up to about 20-25mph. I’ll have them on all winter. Looks like the only wear item is the tough rubber tensioners but they send two per wheel and I’m sure not too much for a spare set.

Paying over $250 for a set of Chains and you cant include a bag or carrying container to put them in my truck? Would not recommend this item to anyone just on that point. Cheap move. Now I have to find a bag or container to put them in my truck. The chains are nice but was never thought thru.

Easy On - Easy Off. Fit perfectly, snug and secure. Low road noise. Great Traction. Much better than old fashion chains. Love 'em.

I have only tried them on tires to make sure they fit, I haven’t used them in winter yet. But from test run these chains are awesome and very happy with choice. I’m using them on Ram 2500 with Transforce AT LT285/60R20 tires and they fit perfect. For chains I give 5 stars, only gave 4 stars in review for product as I wish it came with a bag to store them as other chains do.

Great fit. You'll want about an inch of clearance around the wheel. I haven't had to use them yet but they went on pretty easy after jacking the wheel off the ground. They look like they will last the life of the truck. Solid build quality.

These chains are down right the absolute best money I have spent this year! Totally saved my family a financial crisis. The closing date of our home happened to fall during the start of a severe winter storm throughout the northwest. We lived on a steep hill where many cars can't make it up a hill after it snows. During this storm it had snowed, melted, frozen to a sheet of ice, and then snowed again on that steep hill. The sale of our house finalized and we had to be out regardless of the weather. My anxiety skyrocketed with the 26 foot Penske truck we had lined up for the move and the new weather conditions. We had no where to go except to our new home 350 miles away through snow covered mountain passes. We didn't have anywhere to sit and wait and we couldn't pay the extra to have the Penske truck sitting with our stuff in it indefinitely. We had to make it work. I looked everyhwhere locally for chains for the 26 foot Penske truck, but since we lived in a small town surrounded by nothing else for 70 miles I was out of luck. I needed something with Amazon prime shipping to get to me fast and came across these chains which would fit the outer wheels of the truck's 11R-22.5 dual rear tires. I really only intended to use these to get up our neighborhood hill. While cars where sliding down the hill we made it up with these chains! We then took them off for the highway and about 50 miles later the snow was so bad that only trucks with chains were permitted to continue on. Thank goodness I had these chains. Otherwise I would've been blocked off from traveling any further at a hotel for days. It took 16 hours to drive what would've taken 5.5 hours by car but we made it! We drove total of about 350 miles with about 200 miles of that being pure ice highway with lots of snow drift through high mountain passes. I drove on the ice and snow between 25 and 35 mph with no problem. I went as high as 45 mph but mostly kept it under 35 mph. I couldn't find a max speed for these chains. I read that typically the suggested speed is 25 mph. Some big rigs where hauling past me at 50 mph with their chains. I'm not sure if this is because they have special chains or if they don't care about stretching their chains out. I would say these chains did excellent at 35 mph with a 26 foot truck at full load in sever winter conditions. Best freaking money spent this year!
