This served it's purpose, which was helping my kids understand how to wait for a set amount of time (under an hour) for something. The visual helped them understand progression. It didn't stand up very well to my younger child spinning the dial over and over. The green film eventually caught on the rest of the clock face and now it won't operate. Recently had to throw it away. Not much is truly child proof and that's understandable.

Pink was not as bright as anticipated- but the functionality of the product hits the mark. Visual Timers are a life saver when it comes to me actually "getting the thing done". It has helped me achieve my mini goals and relieved a ton of stress!

This is great and with the stand AND heavy duty magnets can be used on a table or nightstand or stuck on the fridge. The only negative (which might not be for other folks) is the alarm sound - the special needs child I was working with loves the timer (and especially loved that it was blue), but he's very sensitive to sounds. This one sounds like a loud old ringing timer. (My dogs aren't fans of the alarm sound, either, but have gotten used to it). I highly recommend it though for size and durability.

I've had a heck of a time finding a good kitchen timer. This one rocks. Yes, it is big. But once you try it, you'll wonder why you went with small ones. The magnets keep it on fridge well. But you can use the legs. Battery powered timers NEVER die before you use them. They never die after you use them. They always die WHILE you are using them. This thing doesn't use batteries. Turn the dial just past 55, then set to anything between 59 minutes and 1 minute. The colored moving dial makes casual readings extremely easy from far away. So you won't have to go into the kitchen with your reading glasses on and squint at a tiny dial anymore. The bell can be easily heard from 1 room away. Two if the house is relatively quiet. You can hear the ticking, but it's not bad at all. I've been using it upwards of 7 times per week for about a month now without a problem at all. If you want a timer for more than 1 hour, this one is not for you. If you MUST have a teeny tiny timer, this one is not for you.

Love the large size and vibrant blue colour. The magnet is ultra strong so sticks on the fridge without slipping. It also has a stable foldout stand making it great to prop up on a table. We use it as a timer for a 3 year old. Helps him to playfully visualize the concept of time. He now actually enjoys completing simple tasks. Getting dressed was taking 45 minutes plus, now he can be finished up in 10 or close to it. Helps to give him a time frame as to finishing up tub time, or getting ready for bed time. It,s come in very handy as a motivater for our little visual learner.

I bought this for my classroom, and it is SO helpful for my students AND me! We try to “beat the clock” when we have our phonics UFLI lessons (supposed to be 30 mins on the dot), and it helps them SEE how much time is left since it’s not digital. I’m so glad I bought this. It truly is a game changer. Also, I love how it is magnetic. The magnet is so strong it is literally almost kinda hard to pull it off my whiteboard (which means there’s no chance it can get knocked off!). Fully recommend.

I ordered one green and one blue. I have used both for up to 5 minutes at a time. The timing is accurate enough for my purposes. Both do go 10-20 seconds beyond the actual time set when compared to a stop watch, but it is not easy to be exact when setting the timer so this time difference may be due to that. They make a ticking sound while operating, but it is not incredibly loud and has not been distracting for my purposes (I work with adults). They are relatively small, so are easy to pack up and take with me for off-site use. I really like that they do not require batteries so I don’t have that added expense or worry. The colored disks are bright enough that you can easily gauge your time visually even from a distance. For me, the biggest issue has to do with operation of the bell. The blue timer will "ding" several times between minutes 4 and 3 and the green one between minutes 3 and 2. This random "dinging" is problematic, as it distracts people from their work because they erroneously think their time is up. The second problem is the fact that neither timer makes a noise when the entire time has elapsed - the ticking just stops. Because the ticking is relatively quiet, I can’t hear it unless I am pretty close by. Therefore, I have to repeatedly look at the timer to know when time is up, which takes my attention away from the work I am doing while the timer is running. If I turn the knob to 0 manually, the timer sounds, but it does not sound at all when operating on its own. If this issue were to be corrected, these visual timers would be perfect for my purposes.

Es muy práctico de usar, sus imanes ayudan a tenerlo adherido a algún mueble de metal o puedes usar sus patitas y colocarlo en una superficie. Es muy llamativo para mis alumnos y están al pendiente de la alarma

I bought this as a way to stay on track during the work day after my first egg timer broke within a week. I have pretty severe ADHD and the time blindness that often accompanies it. Meds have their limits and don’t do much for time blindness (at least in my experience), so I needed something to help structure my time. It’s common for me to get so focused on work that I will forget to log on to Zoom for meetings, much to my boss’s chagrin. And when I tried to use my phone’s timer, half the time I’d get distracted by something else, like an incoming text or email.I love being able to see exactly how much time is left with just a quick glance. The alarm is loud enough to be heard from the other room (a bonus since I often wander away from my desk during breaks) and it’s lasted much longer than the $5 egg timer. The ticking is very audible, which some people may not like. I don’t mind it; I actually kind of like it because it fades into the background but it’s also an audible and visual cue that I’m in work mode, both for me and my partner. It’s stupidly easy to set and reset if needed. And it even came in my favorite color. I hope this lasts a long time, but if I get only a year’s use out of it, I’d buy another one just like it because of all the time saved from distraction. I’d strongly recommend this to both adults with ADHD and parents of ADHDers, with the earlier caveat about the ticking noise.
