Owned this chair for 6 years now, still looks good, holding up very well and seat is not worn out either. Every other chair I owned after a few years would get to the point you felt like you were sitting in a hole, not this one. Highly recommend for anyone tall over 200 pounds. Only thing I had to replace was the control panel, chair is used multiple times daily.

This unit sits high for taller people. It is nicely done. Only 2 things are if you are tall the headrest tends to hit in the shoulderblades and the cushions are very firm. Hopefully this will break in some

I disliked the fact that I thought the chair was for tall people but found out after I got the chair that it did not fit. Since being a Viet Nam vet with Lymphoma along with a wife that just recently was operated on for stomach cancer. I just do not have the strength to go through the effort of getting it sent back to Amazon so I’m stuck with it.

CEVA shipping was less than desired, scheduled delivery was late they wanted to drop it in the driveway but i made them put it on the porch. Arm rests didn't line up with the chair, they used cheap hinges.The foot rest keeps falling down under very little pressure. In my opinion this is a 600.00 chair not a 1500.00 chair.Update: Trying to return recliner freight company will not show up for any scheduled pickup coming or going.CEVA was about 3 hours late for delivery and Pilot just didn't show up period.Good luck moving big and heavy recliner back and forth just because they don't want to show up.

Like most, I was hesitant to buy anything at this price without sitting in it first. I read reviews and did a lot of research. Let me say, this seating is better than expected. The leather is soft and durable. The minute we sat down, we could feel a rock solid piece of furniture. The back support is amazing. The adjustable lumbar and neck support make binge watching programs very easy to get through. If you have any hesitation. Just stop yourself and make the purchase. We are thinking about buying 1 or 2 more for other areas of our house. Every area of this chair feels top quality. We had a cupholder light that didn't work on arrival. Customer service was excellent. It just came unplugged during the move. I had it fixed in 30 seconds. Thank you!

I was excited to read the reviews and order this. Once received, it was easy enough to assemble. I'm 6'3" and 230lbs and have yet to find a recliner that doesn't cut off at my calves and/or head. The tilting headrest and length were as described and fit great! The issue with me is the armrests were too far apart to really enjoy, especially for the price of the chair so I sent it back at no cost (Amazon rocks on returns!). If I weighed another 100lbs it would probably be perfect fit.I would also move the chair controls to the top as it is difficult to navigate to, and way too easy to hit the "reset" button which closes the chair and you can't stop it. So, in the middle of a movie you try to make a minor adjustment, hit the reset by mistake (controls are really close together, especially for a big guy) and you have to wait for it to sit you up completely before you can start again- ugh!

I'm 6'4" and 390 lbs. The chair is very comfortable and doesn't feel or sound strained in any way. Very comfortable. The storage areas under each armrest are too far back to be used comfortably while seated in the chair but hey, just stand up, get out what you need, and sit back down. I also would prefer the cupholders all the way forward and then put the controls either up around the cupholders or topside somewhere but the controls are still pretty good/easy. This is a big chair and even at my size, very comfortable! Yet, I was considering getting a 3 seat row of the same top-of-the-line but a little smaller seat for my 5'6" - 140 lb wife but she is also comfortable in this oversized theater chair so for the exact same money (as the smaller Seatcraft Equinox) why buy the smaller ones? That way I can sit in my large single Pantheon recliner or the triple or double set beside my wife. Some of the larger seating I've purchased is uncomfortable for her smaller size, but she likes this!Consider buying a 2 or 3-in-1 hand truck for moving the base around and up or down stairs if necessary. The one in the first pic has a spring loaded fold down long lifting platform. I added the two small casters to make it usable laid down and rolled it right to where I wanted it with ease. Amazon has many choices for 2 or 3-in-1 hand trucks.I would definitely recommend the Seatcraft Pantheon and it is bigger and sturdier than anything at the HUGE furniture place in Omaha. No comparison! Love it!

Seatcraft Patheon is wonderful. Although I am only 5'3" I got the Big and Tall chair because I wanted the 36" wide seat due to the fact that my dog sits with me and we wanted the room there. Even though I am short, the lumbar support hits my back and is just great. I love the headrest and it goes just where I need it. I would rate the chair a 10, but it does have a one drawback. The buttons are terribly hard to use because the are located so close to the seat at the bottom of the handle by your leg. But still a 9 1/2 Star rating. Leather beautiful, soft and comfortable. Extremely well made. I love the chair. Contacted customer support and they were extremely helpful in setup and information.
