Review of: SEALIGHT 9005+H11 Lights Combo 60000LM, 9005 H11 Combo Fog Light for Powersports, Real 1:1 Mini size Plug N Play, 60000Hrs Long Life with Cooling Fans,Pack of 4Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DMVZNPQG?th=1Ordered: On 12/22/2024 and arrived on 12/30/2024.Price: $65.59 at time of ordering. Price: $59.49. The bulbs come protected in a cardboard box with individual slots in the inserted foam. H11 bulbs are LED with a metal housing upper and lower with a small fan in each. They are two separate pieces joined together by tiny star-bit screws. There is a rubber or silicone O-ring separating the halves to not allow moisture into the light itself (every bulb) and all are IP68 rated. There is no cable which connects either 2-prong connector. The 9005 bulbs are similar except the 2-prong connections are further apart. There are screws on both sets and plastic areas with tabs for locking each in place. Included are (2) replacement O-rings for the 9005 lights only and replacement screws. The housings are engraved to distinguish from H11 or 9005. The LED lights are pretty bright but may require an additional decoder for some vehicles in order for them to work (see photo). This decoder is not included, and you have to reach out to the vendor to find the right one for your vehicle. The LED lights look nearly exact how they do in the link. The description states these are waterproof, but hard to know if that's true as they are supposed to be in the headlight housing where water typically doesn't enter too often.Recommendations: **Use nitrile gloves at all times when removing and installing any headlights to prevent damage to the unit. Ensure screws are tight prior to installation. Verify size needed prior to purchase. **Pros: Full metal Body, Bright LEDs, Sturdy plastic tabs, Well machined, Replacement O-rings; Instructions includedCons: May require a decoder.Worth buying?: For $60 it's a good buy if they fit your vehicle without a decoder.

I got these for my 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Pickup Truck with Bi-Function Halogen Projector H/Lamp stock lights. Yes, this was confusing for me too and it took me time to figure this out so hopefully this review will help:First of all, what a MAJOR upgrade these lights were. Even with 20/20 vision, I never knew how much I struggled to see with stock lights until I got these babies! What you need to know if the number that is on the back or bottom of your stock lights to find the right replacement. If you have #9005, you replace with #9005. you can use a decoder in some cases, but it's not recommended, plus it just takes more work and zip ties and muchos blah blah. Just order the same bulb # to replace the bulb that you have now. Boom! Easy plug and play!My original high beam lights were #9005, and this particular set comes with (aftermarket) high beams which are also #9005. Sweet! Installation was easy-peasy.However, my standard lights were #9012 and this set came with H11 light bulbs, which did not work, even though Amazon said these lights were compatible. Do NOT rely on Amazon to tell you what is compatible. Contact Sealight customer service to double check compatibility before you purchase a bulb if you aren't sure.Anyways, I contacted Sealight via email and they sent me (free of charge) the correct #9012 bulbs that I needed to replace my stock #9012 bulbs which arrived within a few days. They also helped me with other questions that I had and were very helpful and educated. Replacing the standard lights was a bit more tricky because I had to remove the headlight assembly and the grill, but that's what I had to do for MY vehicle. It's not necessarily what needs to be done for yours.Regardless, these lights are outstanding!! They make a quiet humming noise after turning off the vehicle, which is the fan working to cool down the lights. It's not annoying or anything, it's a good sign that tells you the lights are doing what they should be doing to avoid any overheating.I would highly recommend these bulbs to anyone considering to purchase is the bottom line!
