These lights are billed as the greatest light to available. Although they look well made, their functionality is questionable, at best. Upon receiving my order, I installed them. Last night, my lights flickered from low beam, to lower beam. High beam works awesome, but driving around, other drivers thought I was flashing them. Until this is figured out, I would try a more established brand.

I bought these to use on my 2001 Dodge Ram truck, along with LQI's Clear Housing, Clear reflectors, (link below for fellow Dodge guys). As I am disabled, I had to have my neighbourhood mechanic install them for me. I finally got to use them this morning while taking my daughter to school in the early AM.First and foremost, these bulbs are very bright. Low beams light up the road very nicely, I'd guess 40-50 meters in front of the truck, with good patterns to both sides of the road as well. I am almost completely blind at night, and driving in town, I am always concerned about hitting someone's pet, or objects in the road. I prefer an extra bright headlight to avoid such things. Lining it up in front of a building wall, the high end cutoff is very visible (won't blind oncoming traffic). I don't know how much of that is the LEDs themselves, and the design of the housing's reflectors, but I am very happy with that part, I really don't want to make people mad. The high beams are exceptionally bright, though in town, completely unnecessary. I really don't drive much at night unless I absolutely have to, so honestly, they may never get used, but again, they are much, much brighter than the low beams , obvious even in daylight, with a noticeably higher aim point when facing a wall.I installed the bulbs in the housings myself before giving them to him to install on the truck. They came well packaged, and appear to be well made, with no perceptible flaws in manufacture. The main part of the housing appears to be aluminium, or some such alloy thereof, with the expected plastic socket for the connector. They were surprisingly heavy compared to other LEDs I have used. They went in the socket perfectly, with ease, snugly in the given sockets with just a titch of rotational wiggle room, probably for alignment? They installed perfectly vertically, just as the instructions said they should. I had read some reviews stating that they were hard to socket and plug in, and that some had had to make slight modifications to obtain a proper connection. This proved unfounded on my truck, he said they plugged right in, snugly and the retaining tab clicked in properly. Mind that this is on my old Dodge, YMMV.In the past, I have used Halogen bulbs such as the Hella 80/120W, Off road lamps, several brands of HID conversion lights, and several other LED brands in my cars and trucks. These are exceptionally well made, giving great light patterns on both low and high beam. The only odd thing, and it could be the bulb, or perhaps my truck's alternator, but there is a very slight, almost imperceptible flicker that I am going to have to research. Again, it could be my truck's aging electrical system causing it, so no points off for that. As with anything, YMMV, but I highly recommend these bulbs and this brand to any reader.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6Y3JW6Z?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Compared to the stock 2018 Toyota Highlander headlights, these are so much better to have on a dark road. I tried to use the included rubber gaskets for the low beam lights and if I had more room to install them they might have worked. Instead I took the recommendation of others from the website to use the rubber gaskets from the OEM Toyota bulbs.Overall I am impressed with the brightness and visibility created by them.

Purchased this kit for a Toyota Matrix, installation was quick and easy, and the bulbs make quite a difference. I would warn that those looking to swap out your current bulbs with these to also purchase the separate relays as I experienced “flickering” or “strobing” while the driving lights are in use.In talking with others as well as visiting the company website, this is an issue with LED bulbs and Toyota’s in that era. SeaLight does mention this on their company website but a notice in the product bullet points or description would have helped in purchasing everything at once. While this might not bother some, I also live and work with those who are epileptic, and “strobing” or “flicking” can trigger epileptic or seizure episodes which would spell disaster on the open road. For safety, the car is now parked for the weekend until those relays arrive.

I have a 2005 Honda Civic. These lights seem to be a huge upgrade now that I swapped them after a recent halogen low beam died. They are definitely both brighter and clearer than any traditional lamp, which is wonderful. They also should last longer, and be gentler on my car's questionable electrical system. No fans on these guys either since I've heard alot of people don't like the fan noise on other LED sets. This is my first LED set, so I can't really speak to longevity yet, nor compare them to other LED sets. But assuming these guys last longer than my halogens, than I would say they are worth every penny, if only for the additional safety alone. Not to mention one less light to change (I hope), which would not only save me time down the road (not that changing a light takes long), but the stress/inconvenience of a light blowing out a a potentially inopportune time and not me realizing. Sometimes it takes me a few days to realize a headlight might be out in the first place, and every time I notice, my next thought is "How long was a driving without it, and how lucky was I didn't drive by any police." Having lights with better longevity puts my mind at ease. A+
