The Sea Dragon Mini 900 is compact enough to fit comfortably in your hand and also features long battery life, running for 8 hours on one 18650 rechargeable Li-ion 3400mAh battery at quarter power or 2 hours at full power. The battery compartment also features an integrated safety pressure release valve. With a beam angle of 14 deg. (10.5 deg. underwater), the powerful 900 lumen light is perfect for pointing out sea creatures at a distance, viewing in dark areas or crevices, getting your buddy's attention or navigating a night dive.

Yes, That's correct. It has no battery included. The page implies it has a LI battery, but after close review, way down at the bottom it indicates, NOT Included.

Light seems fine. Great rep among dive masters. Some batteries won’t allow the light to function. The strobe mode causes the batteries protective circuit to shut down. I’m not sure how to identify which will work and which won’t without buying and testing. The xtar brand worked.

During a live aboard my three companions all had different flashlights. Everyone of us quickly realized that the Sea Dragon Mini 900 was the best lights any of us had. It stood well above the $75-100 some of us had. Solid, easy switch, Great strobe feature, three levels of light. So I purchased one for my next trip. Held up very well to the very expensive ones the dive boat had available. Highly recommend this. And will note that I purchased the batteries separate because you get two for about the price of one and they are excellent.

This is the brightest and easy to use dive light in its class. It's much brighter than other lights this size. It has a double seal for the battery compartment and won't leak if you keep it greased properly (grease was included). The size of the beam is perfect. Some are so wide that they don't appear as bright. Some focus the light into too small if an area to be useful. It is small enough to fit in a bcd pocket but it's really bright. There was just barely a difference between this one and the next brightest light but this one I only a third of the price. Awesome light. I highly recommend it.

I dive in super cold water with very low viz (sometimes under ice). I also am a SCUBA night dive instructor. This flashlight offers a strong beam that I enjoyed in both salt and fresh water. I like the easy multiple press to toggle through the settings using a single button that functions with my 3 or 5 mm gloves. It's small so isn't taking up a lot of space on my travel BCD when I wear it or my luggage when I pack it for trips.

I got a chance to really evaluate this light on a recent cenote diving trip. I used it on several 100+ foot dives, the deepest of which was 142 feet, and not a hint of leakage. The light was bright for it's size and the beam pattern was good. I purchased Olight 3400mah batteries and tested them with the light before I left home. They lasted two hours and 15 minutes at full brightness before the light stepped down to the medium brightness setting automatically.What I did not like about the light was that it doesn't have a lockout feature to prevent it from getting accidentally turned on in a BCD pocket. I also wish the five different patterns (high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS) could be programmed and not have to cycle through them to get to the one you want. If you want to go from medium to high you have to press the button four times. I would like to be able to eliminate the strobe and SOS patterns. The lanyard hole is very small and has sharp edges, making it difficult to insert the included lanyard or to thread line to tie a bolt snap. The reach of the beam could have been better, but for the size and price I think this is a good light.

I received this light and batteries and could not believe how bright it was! When I took it on my dive trip all that I got was a dull beam, no matter what setting it was on! I recharged the batteries and switched the batteries around. It did not matter. I returned for a refund. I want to re-order but can’t decide.
