I created a writing guide for my school. My school already had the binding machine. So I used these clear covers and black back covers along with the plastic binding edge to bind 30 writing guides. The only small problem I had was that the plastic binders were longer than the covers, so I had to cut approximately 1 inch off of each of the plastic binders. Otherwise, they work perfectly and look great.

BUYER BEWARE - SIZE INFORMATION IS COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!The clear sheets that come with this set are 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" instead of 8-1/2" x 11" so they DO NOT FIT anything relating to normal paper. The textured backs are the correct size which makes it even more odd. I received the first set and sent them back and got a second set thinking the first was a mistake but it was not -- received exactly same thing.I had to buy separate clear covers to match my booklet pages and used the textured backs that came with this. The clear covers are trash that I had to pay for to do what I wanted.Amazon should pull these from their catalog unless they place a warning with them.
