I use this case to carry around mixed screws and drill parts. It has been thrown around and is still very durable. It is great for small projects.

I have several rechargeable NiMHh batteries, and now I seem to be collecting Li-ion, LiPo, other various types to add to the collection. The Lithium batteries are deemed more dangerous than other types, although that can be disputed. You may find the vast majority of storage boxes for lithium baatteries, i.e. 18650, 14500, 10440, 16430, etc. are all small sqare ones that hold 4 batteries. This is because you aare not supposed to keep all your lithium based batteries together in case one does catch firee. The problem is I ended up with all these 4-slot battery boxes cluttering up the place. Now let's face the facts, I'm not going to spreead battery boxes throughout the house to keep them seperated, I'm going to keep all my spares in one place. I thought of a military ammo can, which is sealed, then there would be no fire. As long as the batteries are in plastic cases first that would be OK, but metal boxes have the potential to short-circuit a battery if it ids not encased. There are no organizers for these small boxes for safety reasons. It may not be perfect, but I found this Seahorse 300 Protective Case made of plastic, sealed, and battery boxes fit perfect. The square ones, or I bouthe the Whizzoptech 10 battery trays (which run VERY tight on lithium batteries), or the DOUFIRE Battery Storage Containers with AA/AAA converter cases (I tried the converter cases, NONE of my 10440's fit), and I bought some 8 x 18650 boxes which are plentiful here on Amazon. From the pics you will see this is a very nice fit! Yhe only thing left is I ordered some 1" foam I am going to glue in toe lid to fill the space and keep the boxes snug. If I didn't I could fit more in butr I don't need to.The case is fabulous, heavy duty, I think I could run over the thing with my truck and it would be just fine. I mean it is SOLID! If you are hesitant to pay $21 for a plastic box don't be. It's worth every penny. It came with a catalogue of their product, they have some very nice boxes!

I've ordered two of the Seahorse SE-300 Cases and have had one of them in use for two years now for use in my truck for carrying a mirrorless DSLR and later a Sony RX10 Mk III camera kit (did the internal foam layout / install myself), and the case has held up extremely well both in the North Carolina Summer heat and Winter along with some jostling around with no warping or damage to my cameras or equipment so it had done everything I have asked of it well enough that I purchased another one. The only thing I haven't tested is just how waterproof they are, but in checking the seal contact area even after the temperature extremes the seal has a good indentation with no gaps anywhere to where I wouldn't have an issue taking my two year old case canoeing etc for fear of my equipment getting wet. Now if I were white water rafting?... Well I'd probably buy a Pelican just because, but for most regular demands this is a quality case that won't break the bank.

For the money, this is a GREAT case. I bought it to use as a small emergency kit to take with me when I am kayaking down the river. I have fire starting gear, first aid gear, and the all important T.P. that I keep in it. It has made ALOT of trips with me over the past few months, and it hasn't leaked any. Usually it just gets some water splashed on it, but it has gone through a few HEAVY rain storms as well. I haven't ever opened it and found any water inside. I can't fully explain how happy I am with this case! It is made from thick plastic and should last for many years of use. I will purchase another one so I will have a little more storage.Seahorse has done a great job on their products!!!!!!

Love this box!!!!!!! bought to store cigarettes and cell phone. Not only did it hold my belongings, it also held to others for river floats. Is completely dry! Only issue I do not like is the location to place the lock. Its perfect if your only going to be in box when destination is reached, however, when your floating & want to access is you need to remove lock before you can open, if you put a lock on it. I placed a carabiner in spot to attach to my tube, so every time i wanted a cigarette or phone, I had to remove the carabiner. Other than that, I love it!

This case is quite excellent. Looks good, and by good I mean it does not look cheap. Also works to lock in light aromas. Not sure if it is completely smell-proof, but it does the jobs when tested against the smells of wafty herbs such as oregano and cilantro. Totally worth the price compared to similar cases offered by some of the competitors. Haven't tested if it is completely waterproof, but it performed well in a splash-water situation.

I have worked with Pelican, Storm and some off brands (Duratool) and this case is very well constructed and amongst the best thus far in a quality to price ratio. The hinges operate in a smooth fashion, the watertight seal works great and the latches are solid and sturdy. These cases come with panel insert holes pre-casted into the body (top and bottom) unlike most other higher-end brands. Cosmetically the case is flawless with smooth lines and rounded edges. This partially project required me to drill into this case at which time I realized the wall thickness is approx. 5/8” solid plastic (which really impressed me). Seahorse is a made in the USA and the workmanship is ideal. I will definitely look to Seahorse for my future case needs.
