Bought for my Xbox One X. Storage capacity at 1 Tb was perfect. The improvement in game loading speeds was incredible. Worth the money.

As the title says you can install games to this SSD however any game that is Series S/X optimized you can't play from an External drive. This would not be bad if you are looking to install games to that are not optimized for S/X otherwise I would recommend getting an Internal Storage device.3/5 ☆ as I am sure it would be fast for games that are not specific to S/X

So this does make games load faster but the price may keep most away. My only other gripe is that it's small enough that anyone can slip this in there pockets and you'd never know it. But it is a great device. Just make sure you tuck it away if you can.

With this drive games load at least 25-30% faster. If this doesn't sound like much consider the XBONE load times on a lot of games are two to three minutes, This drive alone can shave an entire minute off load times! The only downside is it's only 1TB but this is pretty typical for SSD drives.The only reason you shouldn't get this drive is if you're only concerned about space and have hundreds of games and want a lot of them always installed. This shouldn't matter because you can always reinstall games that you remove.Bottom line if you have an Xbox One (Original, S, or X) this drive will improve your actual gaming experience.

Wow! The loading times are almost gone! Division 2, Red Dead Redemption 2 and all the games with long loading time. Say goodbye to that! I am so stupid that I haven't bought this SSD more early. I wasted sooooo much time with loading screens...

Bought it to store/use games on an Oculus Rift S. Super fast load times and allowed me to clear storage on my laptop which allowed the games to run more smoothly.

I've had this for sometime now and it's working really well, I tried this on more mmo rpg games because I know they have alot of loading and popping in them, my load times went down alot as I mean cut in half if not more and when I go in a game like MW I'm the one loaded in waiting for others to get in, a my must buy for your Xbox.

As an SSD drive it’s good HOWEVER there are a few issues that made me return it...1. Unlike its identical Seagate and Lacie counterparts this drive does not ship with type-c to type-c cable in addition to type-c to type-a. Given it costs more - this should be included.2. The drive uses USB 3 not USB 3.1 Gen 2 like many of its competitors3. Other (cheaper) drives feature all-aluminum construction and better build quality.4. The retail packaging was scratched and a little beat up.All of the above I could look past if this drive was in the $150-175 range however at a current price of $242 it’s simply missing the mark.

Speeds up loading of games. Was running out of room and needed more. This worked great.You can move already existing games to the external drive very easily through the XBox games and apps menu.Plug and Play simple!

I had an existing 2TB SATA external drive for loading games like The Division 2, GTA V, etc. Load times in The Division 2 were slow, as was 'fast' travelling between sites in the game. After hooking up this 1TB SSD, my fast travvel times have shrunk to less than 10 seconds, instead of the 30-40 I was seeing before. The game feels much snappier and I no longer dread certain actions as a result of having the SSD. I would recommend this drive to anyone with an Xbox One X or earlier console.
