Seems Sturdy and well made. Slightly small. It would not accept my 5/16 chain, it had to be ground just a little bit. It states that the small side is 5/16 which is .312". It measured .281. I had to grind it on the inside to fit my chain. The 5/8 side measure about .610 which is still a little small but larger than my anchor.Over all this seems like a quality made product. too bad they cant measure very well.

I found this swivel to be well made and very strong. The screws that hold the anchor and chain are quality made. Be sure to apply thread lock to both unions.

I purchased this item to replace a shackle that had been securing my anchor to the chain. The shackle would get caught on the anchor roller. I no longer have that problem.

I lost my previous stainless steel anchor swivel to the demon rock gods of the ocean floor. I ordered this as a replacement and was completely blown away by the quality and workmanship. The finish was well polished. I am fully satisfied with this product. The best part is when you price compare to West Marine's offerings.

I used this to connect 1/4" BBB chain to my anchor. Nice and strong, and easy to install. The price was awesome: Another merchant (can't say who, but rhymes with "Best Doreen") wanted an arm, leg, and "dibs" on my firstborn for a similar product that wasn't even stainless steel.
