Unfortunately, the return window has lapsed prior to me installing this on a portable tank. Gasoline leaks through the fitting if the motor is not connected. This will do me no good for use as a spare tank. For the price this product should have better quality control.

Leaked gasoline vapor, even when properly installed with gasket seal. Caused lots of damage. Product should have better QC for the price tag. Bought one for less from West Marine that worked perfectly. Disappointing.

Sealed to the plastic portable tank very well. This fits quick connect lines for Mercury outboard motors that are 98 and newer, and screws into the tank.

Used this fitting on a portable gas tank for my boat. Portable fuel tanks no longer have a vent. As the pressure in the tank rose the fuel seeped out of the fitting and ruined the carpeting in my boat.
