I use this for carrying dry bags with light gear to and from a kayak. The strap works perfectly with compatible Sea-to-Summit dry bags and makes loading and offloading a breeze by freeing up your hands for whatever else you're doing.

La uso con diverse sacche anche di altre marche. Ottima fattura. Avrei preferito fosse leggermente più lunga. Con alcune sacche più piccole mi risulta corta

Har köpt flera dry bags från samma märke i flera olika serier. Ingen av dem hade den fäst anordning som krävs. Visst är det kanske mitt eget fel men det framgick dåligt i produkternas beskrivning.

This sling is really comfortable to wear with all my Sea to Summit dry bags, including Big River bags. I bought two of these slings and they have both been very useful for my hiking trips. I have not used it with the 35L Big River as yet, but it will work with bags up to 35L. It’s certainly easy to wear with my 8L, 13L and 20L dry bags. Even if you don’t use it, it doesn’t take up much room in your backpack or just clip it to the lashes on your pack because there will be a time one of these slings will come in very handy on your trips. Love all Sea to Summit gear. Very well made and I highly recommend this sling. L A Graham, Melbourne.

The title speaks for itself. Having a bag without a strap is like having a bucket without a handle. Yes the bag does technically have a handle when it is clipped shut but given that this bag is made for recreational activities a strap is a no-brainer. For me personally, I like to go kayaking with my large dog. It is not feasible to manage a kayak, paddle, dog in lifejacket, self in lifejacket and making sure my bag doesn't fall in the water before we are situated.

I have a big collection of Sea to Summit dry bags, so I was eager to try out this shoulder strap too.However, the first thing I noticed is that it's not compatible with some of my bags. I have some Big River dry bags that I bought a couple years ago, and those bags do not include the little connection tab at the bottom that the strap hooks into. If you look at my pictures, you'll see that my newer Big River bag (purchased in 2023) DOES have the tab. So this strap appears to be compatible only with this year's models.Second, I saw that this strap is compatible with Sea to Summit's line of eVac bags. However, I learned they are NOT compatible with eVac *Compression* bags, which is what I use to compress some of my sleeping bags. The compression bags do not have D-ring attachment points, and even if they did, the compression strap that covers the top would block access to it.Those compatibility issues aside, the strap works great. It's fast and easy to attach it to a bag. The hardware feels sturdy too, so I'm not worried about any hooks breaking or even becoming squeaky over time. The strap has a modest amount of padding under the shoulder strap, so it's comfortable, but I wouldn't say it's designed for long-term use with a heavy load. That said, it does make it easier to carry a bag hands-free, which is the main goal!I do like this strap a lot. Just confirm your Sea to Summit bag is compatible before you add to cart.

I purchased this sling strap along with one of their dry bags which said it is compatible. I was skeptical since the other reviewer mentioned that the one they purchased was not, but I received both today, and it attaches really easily and works great. Just make sure that the compatibility is listed. I purchased two different dry bags from them, and one was compatible which had it listed as compatible, and the other one didn't list it and isn't. The one that isn't compatible, I figured it wasn't since it isn't listed but didn't care since I didn't purchase that one to use with the sling, rather something else. Love the idea and will definitely get a lot of use out of it.

山行きでは、温泉セット等を入れてすっと掛けられます。普段の買い物もザックの中に入れて行き、使用しています。ザックに入りきらない野菜や瓶類などをドライバッグに入れ、これで吊り下げて前掛けにして使うことができて便利です。

I bought this thinking it would be a no brainer but boy was I wrong. I didn't have the compatibility issue like some people did but this sling digs into my shoulder. The clip does not have a cover material to prevent it from digging into your back. The sling has just a little lip of material but not enough to cover the clip. I can see this being an agony to move around with for even a short hike. I packed a 9lbs bag and my shoulder is already hurting from a few minutes of carrying this around. This is not worth the price I paid and I don't think the engineers thought it through very well. When I think of seatosummit I think quality and one aspect of quality is the end user experience or voice of the customer. I don't think they even gave some away to people to collect some user data with. Buy at your own risk, an alternative to this would be any other sling with carbinders and good padding. They made it easy enough to just tie the bottom end to one of the lash points that are way stronger than the 15 or so tiny one at the bottom of the bag.
