Acheter été 2024 pour un usage de protection d'un appareil photo à la plage, contre... le sable. Ça fonctionne bien. Testé avec projection d'eau également mais pas en immersion.

I took this bag on a 12 day river trip and it was easy to use, durable under heavy daily use with sand, immersion and rough conditions. Strongly recommend.

Le produit en lui même est top, cependant, lorsque l’on roule trois fois l’ouverture (comme conseillé et c’est un très bon conseille) et bien, il ne vous reste pas grand chose comme place à l’intérieur.Petit conseille…prenez plus grand!

Bought this to replace a 20L that was lost/left behind on a trip. Easy to access rain gear, easy to wipe off exterior dirt/transfer, very durable exterior even in an environment of fish hooks, and other abrasive/sharp objects. Comfortable handle for carrying. and a woven strap circles the bag through built in loops if you need to strap it onto something. Totally waterproof. Bought the bright orange this time.

These are a really durable product. The seam welding didn't last a season though. So much for the fancy "welding" that holds them on. It's still a functional drybag that can take some abuse, but the construction is lacking. However there is really good customer service from Sea to Summit. They just sent me a new bag no questions asked. I sent them pictures, a receipt, and they mailed me a new bag. Really impressed with that.

I am new to kayaking, and dry bags, so I read a...er...boatload...of reviews. I needed one for my maiden voyage, and finally settled on the Big River 8L bag. It was perfect. I got a Sitka hooded sweatshirt, a small towel, and a couple of bananas and fig bars in there with a bit of room to spare. Not too big, not too small.Sizing descriptions on various sized bags were exceptionally confusing. Like nothing fits in a 5 liter except maybe a pair of socks and some lint. In an 8 liter, you could get a sleeping bag and a puffy coat. A 10L, you could put your boat in it, and so on. So I was lost at what to get. A 10L seemed huge for a couple hours of playing about on the river. A 5L seemed like it might be too small, so I split the difference. In my highly inexperienced opinion, it's about perfect for a day outing if you aren't bringing your house with you.It got wet outside. It did NOT get wet inside. It seems very durable, and I used the clip and a carabiner to ensure that it would go downriver with the kayak in the event that I went swimming inadvertently.I'm glad I sprung for the extra quality. I figured with trips with my dog to the coast and other things, it would see good service to warrant the little bit higher price.I have not used it a lot yet. It's going out again tomorrow on a kayaking wildlife tour. A three hour tour. IYKYK. But I am looking forward to putting some miles in with this bag and expect it to hold up well.

I purchased the Big River Dry Bag 13L. It works really well for me, and I'm glad I didn't try and save a few dollars by going with a cheaper brand. I use it to put my phone/wallet/keys/snacks/sunscreen in when I'm on the water for short trips. The thorough and evident quality of the dry bag makes it worth the investment as a quality piece of gear!PROS:- Durable exterior. I don't think anything rocks/scrapes would ever break it.- The top is easy to roll up. If I don't put as much in the bag one day, I just keep rolling it.- I like the 2 D Rings on the buckle. I use the D Ring and a carabiner to keep my bag where I want it. It's nice that there are 2 D Rings, not just one. Also, the D ring is big enough to use a pretty thick carabiner (like you would take rock climbing).- The buckle itself works well. Not flimsy. I've never had to use a repair buckle, but it's nice that they think that far ahead.- There are two side areas that you can use to strap the bag down.- When I'm storing it, I roll it back up (from the bottom) just like it came in the original packaging. The fabric isn't folded in any way that puts stress on it if I leave it in my garage or bottom of my pack for months at a time.- I also like the oval shape of the bag. I feel like there's a lot of wasted space in circular bags. They say the oval prevents it from rolling, and makes it easier to pack. That might be true, but I like the oval because it does a better job holding my gear.- The fabric is great for sliding in and out of a bigger pack.CONS:- Sometimes when I roll it from the top, the D Rings have a tendency to get "rolled up" into the roll.- I don't think I have any other cons!Another HUGE pro --> I reached out to the Sea to Summit customer service team and they were enormously helpful. They were prompt, descriptive and empathetic. I could really tell based on their tone and message that they embrace the outdoor lifestyle, enjoying nature, and being sustainable. I think they're based in Colorado, but they opened the email with "G'Day!"

Ah, la qualité Sea to summit.
