Perfect for GoPro! Provides a very wide beam of bright light, which illuminates everything for the camera very well. The mount is very convenient. I got a used one that was a store model and it is just like new. I will update my review as I use it longer.

I bought the unit before going diving on a liveaboard to use with a combination with GoPro. I also bought a flexible extension to deal with relaxions from particles in the water which occur when lens and a light are on the same plane. The seller didn't have a 2500 lumen unit so they sent me a 3000 lumen unit. There are three aspects to this review.First is the power of this light. Somebody wrote in their review that 1500 lumens is not enough. Well, 3000 lumens was enough to properly expose coral and fish up to 3 feet from the camera. Two other people in my diving group had professional camera setups with 4/6 still and video light and their pictures and wide angle videos came out great. Mine were abysmal. The manufactured of this unit allows to set up two lights, but I doubt that 6000 lumens would make enough difference.Second aspect is reflections. Though I attached my light on a flexible extension tube so that it would stick out in front of my camera lens, the reflections were omnipresent. But the worse part about this unit is the battery casing design. It uses a double wring seal system, but there is no indicator of when the unit is properly tightly closed. I played with it at home when I receive it, but I didn't submerge it in a water. After the first dive, I had a real problem trying to open the battery compartment. I've been lifting weighs all my life and a have a pretty strong grip. Yet it took me multiple attempt, during which I struggle to unscrew the lid unsuccessfully each time persisting for several minutes. At some point I gave up, had lunch, tried again and finally succeeded. After that I closed it, but tightened it with a little less force that before. On my next dive the unit started going off and on by itself. I assumed that it didn't fully charge last time and that it was trying to use energy more sparingly. After I came back onto the boat and opened the unit in the camera charging station, the compartment was filled with brown liquid! It was a mixture of salt water and battery juice. The battery contact points were corroded and I had to scrape them. I wiped the unit clean with fresh water and alcohol and dried it out before trying to recharge it. From that point it would only take up to one third of power. I took it on another dives, but it wasn't bright enough anymore to make a difference. Obviously this is a poor design to start with, as to the power, a good quality flashlight would do a better job.

Loved the light and cradle for my SeaLife iPhone case. Together they worked flawlessly, as you can see with the included pictures.

No complaints at all with this video light. It's very well-constructed & extremely bright. I use it in a commercial setting for scuba-based inspections where there is no natural light. Videos turn out great. I like the ability to choose brightness & the camera mount is solid. The light can be easily unsnapped from the handle for storage, but it is a well-designed secure attachment. The housing protects the light well from accidental bumps & scratches. Battery life is fantastic. Great product, SeaLife.

Product arrived on time and as expected. This light is very bright and should work well. The only things I dislike about the light is the pulsing flash when light is turned off. Its distracting. The light is also very expensive!

Excellently designed light that was indispensable for night dives and was diffused enough to allow excellent underwater photography. I used it as my primary dive light. The three brightness settings were useful to extend the battery life; I kept it on 25% until I found something I wanted to video/photograph and then bumped it up to 100%. I also highly recommend buying an extra battery that you can have charging for your next dive.
